sorry mujhe only romance likhna chiye tha...proper tracks main love story is covered 😃

I am expecting a love track ...a side track of Payash or Anjali's.

Couldn't have agreed more with you... I agree, Barun is not the entire solution, but just a part of it. Had they made a strong characterization much sooner, they wouldn't be facing so much trouble now.

Frankly, for me, since Barun left, the story picked up for better only. The drama was gripping, the script was tight... all in all, it wasn't so bad. At least, it was so much better than the Suhana la la la days !

But then, to a general audience, they promised a love story... how can u have a love story, if the lover is absent for 40 days ! Their TRPs were bound to sink ! U see, their target audience was youngsters (like the OMG OMG ones we have on the main forum)... Or the Saas Bahu aunties.

When their USP of the show, their extra delicious hero is missing, no chemistry showing... and first intimate scene in one year is shown with such obvious body doubles... the OMG crowd is gone !

Why would the aunties want to watch IPK... when there is no Saas-Bahu drama... in stead they are watching Nancy Drew trying to find her Arnavji... that too in more like a comical way... wouldn't they rather switch to CID for a crime thriller ! Why watch IPK !

Basically, because the main lead is gone... they have lost their target audience.

For them to have let Barun go for so long, it was risky, they knew that... but it was gutsy ! No matter what.

What they could have done much much earlier... was to give a stronger character to Akash/Payal or Anji/Shyam... but there they failed miserably... and now they are running helter skelter.

Now that the main lead is back, hopefully, there will be a lot less pressure on the PH... and they will bring back the old charm... and market it like they first sold it to us !!!

I kind of watch it, it is a saas bahu saga not really my thing and nothin compared to IPKKND at its peak but they stick to the character sketch and don't deviate much and the episodes r connected even if its a filler.

How true is that !!! To maintain being on the top is the biggest challenge ! I'm just wondering... how come there's such a huge difference in the TRPs of the no. 1 show... 5.6... and the rest all... number 2 show is somewhere 3.8 or something...

And D&B has consistently been in No. 1 position for months now... I've never seen it... have any of you seen it? What is so special about it? </font>

Yes!! That's exactly what I sense! She's become rather dry in her acting, and it's becoming glaringly obvious. Unfortunately, she'll also have to bear a lot of the criticism, since her role is pivotal to IPK progress - as is Sobti's!
