Very interesting post, Lovely.. interesting because your post made me think of the episode in a different way.. i love what you pointed out about the scene where everyone gets the gifts.. weird how Shyam expected Khushi and Mami to believe it was from Arnav.. maybe he wanted only Nani and NK to react after seeing the gift..

I also noticed you said that Khushi should have tlaked to Mami.. but one, will mami believe Khushi? NK believed her, because NK is still not part of the Raizada family directly. .but Mami knows Shyam well, or well she knows whatever Shyam wanted her to know about him.. she will definitely trust Shyam over Khushi... well lets just hope that Arnav will trust Khushi this time! and two, if Mami believed it, then she will not stay quiet.. she will react.. unlike Khushi.. Khushi is staying calm, because of Shyam.. she knows that Arnav is safe, if he was in danger, he would have been killed already.. but clearly Shyam doesn't want him killed.. and plus Khushi just told him that she wanted Arnav to be alive in order to get her revenge.. so she knows Shyam won't kill him.. that's why it seems that Khushi is calm.. Mami doesn't know that.. Yes, I agree.. it didn't sound convincing when Khushi just said trust me, I'm doing what I can.. but on the other hand, I don't know what else she could have said.. plus Mami knows that NK is with her on this.. so mami decided she could trust her..

i don't know .. its confusing and its annoying at hte smae time.. I mean the pen drive was password protected.. how much more will they drag and you are right, Lovely.. not sure why Khushi suggestedAnjali's name... I was yelling at her.. screaming say Khushi Kumari Gupta.. that would have been an interesting twist.. if it was Khushi's name that was the password.. then NK would know that Shyam was obsessed with Khushi!! and now again the paper in the package, why did it not fly into Khshi's lap when the package was opened.. instead now maybe Laxmiji will find it, like Fazila suggested in her post.. how come DM didn't help Khushi this time.. is DM waiting for Monday too.. and then show the paper to Laxmiji instead of Khushi... I don't know.. I just hope the CVs give us something good.. I want the kidnapping track to end soon and for Arnav and Khushi to get together and for Arnav to trust Khushi, no matter what happens..

and waht you said about Anjali spying on Khushi.. good point.. I was praying that Anjali's call did get cut before Shyam said, "Khushiji.. come in.. dont be afraid.. Rani Sahiba is not here!"

Agnipareeksha - The Ultimate Test!

Arnav and Khushi - Khushi and Arnav -

Just when Khushi thought that she and Nk could handle the search for Arnav, receipt of the gifts from the kidnappers in the name of Arnav caused such a melt down of Mami ji that Khushi had to acknowledge her being on the edge.

Today saw Khushi submit herself to the ultimate test in her love for Arnav. Today saw the revelation of Shyam's dark side to NK. Today saw how lust blinded Shyam in the name of love and vulnerability. Today saw how Mami Manorama Bond got to work again!

Khushi takes a step forward and hugs Mami ji with affection, to assure her that she will soon find out where Arnav is! Mami controls her emotions, gathers herself and leaves the room but before leaving she says, "Without finding it out, my heart is not going to rest!"










NK reminds Khushi to focus on their search for Arnav now that she has consoled Mami ji. He decides to keep an eye on Shyam to see when he might use his laptop and asks Khushi to wait in his room for a queue. When NK sees that Shyam is ready to log into his computer with the pen drive, he runs back to his room. NK rushes Khushi to log onto his laptop surprising Khushi by telling her that he has fitted a tiny camera in Jijoo - Shyam's - room! Khushi wonders how NK managed to get the camera - NK reveals that he got this tiny security camera from one of his friends and that this camera is connected to his laptop. He tells Khushi that now they can see Shyam's activity but also mentions that the audio is not very clear. As the laptop screen comes up, NK excitedly shows to Khushi, "Look!" They both watch Shyam getting his laptop set up. NK proudly mentions, "Thank God, Khushi ji! I installed the camera using my smart mind! Now we can see everything clearly - also I can zoom in on this camera!" As Shyam goes on to type the password, NK grabs a writing pad and follows what Shyam types in, "ILOVEYOUKHUSHI" - Khushi's eyes go wide with shock! NK excitedly repeats, "Yes, I got it! I love you, Khushi!" Next moment it dawns upon him - the words are no less than fireballs! NK looks at Khushi's stunned face and as the words sink in... NK is shocked! He starts thinking. Finally he asks, "Khushi ji..this password.. what is this? I Love You, Khushi' - what kind of password is this, tell me! What is this?" Feeling awkward Khushi is about to get up and move away when they hear Shyam's computer ask him for a voice authentication. Intently both of them focus back on the computer. Shyam says the same words out loud and computer confirms authentication. Awkward silence continues between NK and Khushi. Just then they see Mami entering Shyam's room.. prompting Shyam to close the computer.









Mami starts her investigation into the gifts. Being aware that Arnav has been kidnapped and thus could not have sent the gifts from Scotland, Mami decides to check out the gifts to see if there is any clue that can lead her to Arnav. Though Shyam is not very excited with her probing questions, he allows her to look at his gifts. Mami checks out the kurta and the watch.


When NK probes Khushi regarding Shyam's password, finally Khuhsi reveals the truth - how Shyam tries to attain proximity to her... how he behaves inappropriately with her and how she puts up with it without a word for Anjali's sake. NK is disgusted just to hear about this, he explodes! He says to Khushi, "I cannot take this anymore! Let's go get the police! This lowly man does not belong in this house!" Khushi stops him, assures that no one else but she hates Shyam the most. She tells him that Shyam is the reason why there have been so many problems between her and Arnav. However, finding Arnav is the first and most important step and that path goes through Shyam... NK agrees that the pen drive is the thing that they need to be able to access. He also adds that they will need the password in Shyam's voice for that. Khushi says that she knows how to obtain the password in his voice. Realizing her plan, NK retorts, "No, Khushi ji, No! I can't let you do that! He is a sick man!" Khushi says that given that the voice quality on the camera is so bad, she has no other choice but to get close to Shyam to have him say "I Love You" to her regardless of how nauseated she feels just at the thought of it!









Agneepareeksha - The Ultimate Test: Shyam spots Khushi crying, carrying the gift in her hands.. He follows her to her room. Enters the room and finds her crying. He locks the door behind him and asks her what's wrong. He goes to touch her once again when Khushi moves forward and explodes, "Enough! I cannot take this anymore..I just do not understand..what's going on here!" Concerned, Shyam says, "Khushi ji, control yourself!" Offers her his hanky and says, "Khushi ji, I cannot see you cry... what has happened after all?" Khushi throws the gift pack and screams, "Who is the kidnapper after all? And what do they want ? What do these gifts mean?" A stunned Shyam listens as she continues in aggravated fashion, "As if Arnav ji would send me any gift... how can I even believe that he wishes me well..." Khushi frustrated goes and sits at the edge of the bed, "On top of it, I am all alone in this!" Shyam kneels down next to her, gets emotional and says, "No, Khushi ji, you are not alone. I am with you always!" Khushi responds, "No, Shyam ji, I am all alone! There is no one to support me! No one - who I can tell the truth!" and keeps crying. NK watches them from behind the curtains and prays that Shyam says the password line quickly. In the meantime Khushi discreetly activates the voice recorder.


Shyam tries to reach for Khushi's hand, she pulls away... Shyam says, "Don't ever say that again! You are not alone as long as I am alive!" Khushi instigates, "What you said the other day... did you really mean it? That... that Arnav ji has always given me sorrows and you..." Shyam immediately jumps in, "Yes, Khushi ji... I have only loved you - always!" Khushi closes her eyes as it is difficult for her to bear having to listen to Shyam like this. Shyam reaches for Khushi, holds her chin and declares in an emotional voice, "I Love You, Khushi!" Stunned Khushi keeps looking at Shyam. NK smiles happily as the password is recorded. Shyam keeps holding Khushi's face and continues in emotional state, "I always loved you, Khushi Ji! Wish you understood my love long before!" Finally lets go of Khushi; taking this opportunity Khushi gets up and moves away, "I need time.. I need to think about all of this..can you give me some time? Can you leave me alone for some time?" Shyam says, "Think about it, Khushi ji, all you want! As long as you want! Think about us.. just remember that I love you beyond limits.. Never ever think that you are alone as long as I am here!" Satisfied he leaves the room and closes the door behind him!











The storm that she contains: Once Shyam leaves, Khushi breaks down.. just been through the ultimate test of her love for Arnav she had to put up with Shyam.. not just listen to his declaration of love but to instigate his declaration.. her delicate heart, filled with love for Arnav cannot bear to have all this come and be allowed from someone like Shyam! Her fragile mind finally breaks down and she gives in.. tears freely trickle down her face and she trembles with loneliness.. Aranv's message waiting for her to be discovered, stuck in the gift wrap stares her in the face.. but Khushi is unaware of its existence! Khushi also knows about the 'Will' that popped up on his computer but went undisclosed today due to Mami's entry, but what she does not know is that Shyam has changed the beneficiary's name! Khushi is right - she is all alone where she is..The only solace is that her tormenter's time is almost up now and he himself is about to be unmasked in front of Arnav, if not everyone!
