No i don't think so. You know everyone character has a special wardrobe which reflet the character.
Khirad was simple so her clothes are simple
khushi is a Bubbly girl full of life so her dressing is totally ok with her character.
PS : the story was never similar to IPKKND, i don't know Why people think so.
Humsafar was good but the end was typical for me.
Like Maddy has pointed out, the dress Sanaya wore in London was also part of Khushi's wardrobe. Although the orange one was not as good as the white one, it was still way better than the usual stuff Khushi wears. Every time she wore that orange suit in the show, I was like "PLEASE don't take it off!" The least they can do is give her more of those.
The stories of IPK and Humsafar shared a very significant similarity: the theme of betrayal. In both cases, the women were innocent. So it's all about how each character reacts to this issue. And I can't believe you thought Humsafar's ending was typical. It was sooo atypical for me. The ending made the show a masterpiece for me. Ashar tells Khirad that had it not been for their daughter, he would have never dared approach her because he's "unforgivable." Khirad says that she's confused because the love she had for him is lost, and the show ends on that note. It was not the formulaic "happy" ending. Even in the last scene, it's so obvious that Khirad has not accepted Ashar back into her life as before. And that's what I call natural drama! Every human emotion was portrayed so well... Complete justice done to the story and the characters.
