Replay ... yesterdays "Theek ho Tum"
While all of us here were super happy with the hug ... but the emotions .. the thought that they are soul mates is conveyed with "theek ho tum" ... I agree with you ... this is one of the best writing teams ever ... but most of the times execution sucks ...
But after a long time there were a lot of things right in yesterdays episode ... & i think it came from Nissar guiding Khan ... because it was very remnant of Geet style direction ...
1. The "theek ho tum" its as important as WHAT THE , Hello Hi Bye Bye .. & Farak Padta hai in this serial ...
2.The beginning of the HUG ... dreamboat being pushed back a little with the impact & Khushi actually jumped on him with her legs slightly off the ground ... fab
3.Loved the smirky sweet smile on Barun's face ... it was i don't care as off now no MU is imp ... its just u & me
4. Khushi's hand in his hair ... superb superb ... it conveyed her comfort level & her acceptance of her love
5. Full hug ... this was a full body hug ... this is the recent past i have seen only in Geet ... see whenever u have Sanaya hug any actor ... be it daljeet or payal its never a full body hug ... she always gets her shoulder in between ... & has a tilt ... look at the hospital hug as well .. its not a full body hug from her side ... but yesterday it was ... that was surely guided by Nissar ... this is how u show chemistry ... this is how u show passion
6. The dibbo mein mangal seq ... bahut acche ... ( i am not touching on logic ... will give it cinematic liberty) ... again see the proximity ... the camera angle was very very perfect here .. to denote passion ... see this seq was shot at the same time as the day before seq ... but that day there was no chemistry ... but yesterday it was there ... its not the actors ... they do what they have to do its the placement of camera & how u take the shot that denotes chemistry ...
7. dialogues as always bang on ...
My one grouse in yesterdays episode ...: During the hug
A rustic setting -- works very well to convey extreme raw passion
2 wonderful gr8 looking actors ... who convey drama emotions very well
One of the best background scores ever .. very poignant very melodic ... very romantic
Why do we need FB ... we as the audience know how they have been in love from probably the 25th odd episode ... it distracts from the passion bubbling under the surface of the leads ... Its the first hug ... it should've deserved the special treatment ... only focus on the emotions & the HUG ... Only this was required
Kal ka episode dekh ke ... it looked like Nissar is back or at least guiding Khan ... thank GOd .. since romance will be coming up soon between leads ...nobody does romance better than Nissar ...
Nissar just get involved in song direction & selection as well ... u rock in that
