For some reason, I have a really hard time believing Arnav will randomly call Khushi and confess so easily/quickly. Even if he had (somehow) found out the truth, I'm not sure it will immediately lead to a love confession. Besides the obvious reasons - both Khushi/Arnav are stubborn and a little clueless in realizing their love for each other - there is a lack of intensity in confessing over the phone and so suddenly.
Yeah that what i was thinking about, what made him say "I love you" so quickly. Should have said when he thought he lost Khushi, during the wedding track. There is a big reason behind this. I somehow don't believe that Arnav is punishing himself and if he is then his stupid. Khushi's dream is MEANINGLESS and for her to worry for him like this. Why is she SO WORRIED?
Even if we assume the idea that Arnav is kidnapped and that he is given one final call to make, I find it very far-fetched and difficult to believe he would call Khushi and confess out of left field when there has been very little build-up to it from his end. If anything, he would merely tell her to take care of herself and that he forgives her (much as what happened when Khushi had decided on suicide). Furthermore, after telling her the above, if we consider his character in the show and take what Nani said into account, I would predict he would push Khushi away if he knew he was going to die or was in trouble (per the assumed kidnappers). He wouldn't want her to remember him in a way that would hinder her from ever finding love again. That would be more along the lines of his character. Obviously, the CVs have deviated before and that possibility always remains open.
He has never said "I love you" to her or confessed about his feelings. I guess when your in that situation, you don't wanna say anything. Just let the other person know how much you love them or maybe its a hint. These three words are very powerful. I would have done the same thing lol.
But if he is in serious trouble, it would make sense to say "I love you". then what would be left for Khushi to remember him. "Main tumse nafrat karta hoon KKG". Or maybe i'm wrong, his giving her a hint. I think nani was just telling a random childhood story lol i mean Khushi's dream is more meaningful then Arnav's childhood story. Almost everything was related to lucknow and its like Khushi had to get to him and save him.
And when it comes to death - its better to confess. I would have done that lol
God knows if his testing her. I'm just tryna understand from their point of view
One possibility is that if Arnav is kidnapped, perhaps he is trying to send Khushi a message without actually revealing that he is in danger. Because he knows Khushi's first reaction on hearing the words will be concern and disbelief, followed by a conviction that something is not right, which will prompt her to investigate? Or if he is not kidnapped, maybe that guy at the airport was part of the authorities and they are doing an investigation for Shaym (due to some unresolved bank issues, etc.) and to save Anjali, Arnav agrees to forgo the London trip and help them. In doing so, he is perhaps setting a trap for Shaym/Khushi in some way by confessing (this is completely out of left field but hey, what the heck!)...
I agree with that, maybe thats the point. Let her know. No wonder why Khushi will get SO WORRIED and think theres something wrong.
There is definitely something brewing in the background (sinister or otherwise); I wouldn't take the confession at face value and be convinced so easily from the promo.
I just think Arnav isn't behind this, or maybe he wants to trap Khushi and Shyam like you said. But if he knows the truth then why not sort this mess out? Why leave Anjali and Khushi for shyam?
