Very well said and honestly i don't see a problem with Barun being away for a few weeks because I know he'll be back. I'll miss him like crazy sure but I understand and will survive till he's back on our screens. I'm also sure Sanaya can handle both a dance show and IPK, if she does decide to do it. I'm happy for both of them and will keep watching the show as always.

I actually feel more tense about coming to IF these days than anything else, wondering what new earth-shattering news will hit me and who's turn it is so get bashed for no apparent reason. I tend to stick to reading posts such as the Redux and a few other writers I like, other than that It's just not the fun filled forum it used to be and for me personally that's worse than what's happening with Sarun.

*edit: I don't mean to offend anyone with my thoughts, it's just how i've been feeling for the past few days...

Reading your post was like seeing an expanded mirror reflection of a note I had posted along with my analysis on IP Redux: Labyrinth: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/57275507 What further spooked me was the way you began this post: 'Ignorance is Bliss' - the same way I began mine, with the same phrase!

Each point was like seeing a flashback of my post. It's great that you covered the other points about Barun and his work balance and all. I disconnect from my 'behind-the-scenes' knowledge when I watch the show just so that I can enjoy it.

aw man missed this post, so many pges of comments! Lol you just pulled everyone's heads and brought it back to reality. Explained it very well. I hope it sticks with us! When I watched the episodes, I was excited and anxious by how the story is going, then I would log on here and all those feelings would vanish, overcoming with barun leave syndrome! Though there are posts about who kidnapped arnav, where could he be, why did mamiji's only brather made a entry, still posts abt barun exceed. I was so happy last night to see mods closing those topics. A much much needed post molten lava!! :)

I kinda agree...Even i feel a bit tense coming to IF now a days as to what news/spoilers we are going to get...

Everyone misses Barun a lot including meee...But he will be back...till then enjoy the show...

If ur missing Barun too much you can always watch old episodes/Arshi moments...It really helps...First hand experience...

Plz No offense to anyone...Just my POV...

Well Said👏👏... i too agree wit you...i too want the suspense in every episode... due to this SBB/SBS we are lacking the interest in everyday's episode... we already know wats going to be aired... and teasing Barun for his leave is goin beyond lines... its his career and its him who want to choose... being his fan we must encourage him and we should be happy dat he stepped forward... He itself said dat he is not goin to quit then why we want to post topics on him... lets have thrill how khushi solves the prob and wait for arnav's return...

Yes, it was always the leads that kept us glued to the show. But now I'm hoping with one of the lead gone, it will be the story that will keep us glued to our screens.

In my opinion this show has always been a little tardy. They never have any episode banks like other serials. They rely too heavily on the leads, parallel stories are so darn weak - unlike other shows where parallel stories are enough to sustain the momentum if the leads go missing for a while

So i wouldn't be surprised if they just didnt plan everything properly thinking they would handle it.

OBviously it has become too big for them now!

I also thought the same..what if we all don't knw about Barun on leave for 10/11days or 4 weeks or a month...

so we are waiting and looking what happen to Arnav very curious way...and watch the show to get to knw where is Arnav but now we all knw where he is and all so case of that no curious and nothing...

and we all all like what the????

My POV :

I feel it is not laid down ethics but the daily soaps demands the presence and commitment of main leads very often in the story and in show since the main story moves around them only . Absence of main lead for a long time at a stretch will definitely loose the interest of viewers / fans and further due to unwanted change in the main story the show will become weak and go down in popularity . Perhaps it will be difficult to stick with it . If the leads are not committed and if it is difficult to spare the time then story should be logically wrapped instead of dragged unnecessary .

You are right Multidimensional task may be taken by anyone , as the Bollywood stars are dealing with Movies / Adds / TV Shows . But whenever the Movies and Advertisements are displayed to the viewers it is always from initial to Final stage , logically ended not in incomplete stage and that is the final need of a viewer . Further , the Reality show were also carried out by achieving the ultimate Goal , the selection of winner , within short span of time .

Thus , a daily soap also need the main story , and the main characters to remain intact since the viewers become so much attached and addicted to their story , show , cast and breath the same in their Fantasy World Otherwise the fans become depressed and hurt ,hence it is better the show may be gracefully wrapped not dragged when there is uncertainty and beyond control .

hey i totally agree with u.. if barun or ph have not told that barun is leaving for some days.. n will cover it with kidnapping track.. so at this time we will not knwing abt all.. n hame pata nahi hota sab to ham santi se dekhte serial ko bina koi hangama kiye aur wo bhi more interest se ki arnav kaha hai.. sab bata diya.. galti ki yar ph ne aur barun ne.. thts what i think..
