Barun was in 50+ position while BHPH was on air .Yes , you can say awards do not matter, ranking does not matter . it is the love of the fans that matter .I agree . Barun is not less loved by his fans .

u alws in all ur discussions end up with barun vs sanaya,whr ofcourse according to u barun is more famous,more successfull,more deserving n much better actor,whether the TM hasnt even compared between them but alws end up defending barun n in turn kind of hurting may b sanaya fans...but u might again argue that truth alws bitter n all that,ok lets accept ur point that yeah so barun is more famous,succesfull n all that then sanaya,but so what we ppl who love sanaya cant even say when sanaya isnt being appprieciated,whr we feel she is deserving than the other FEMALE nominees... n one more point jsut for the sake of comparison srk is way more popular n won many more awards than aamir so does that make aamir a bad actor or srk a better celebrity???

Of course...I myself started watching this show because I adored Khushi's character. Sanaya is a gifted actress who can display a wide variety of emotions unlike most actresses on television who seem to only cry 24/7. Despite Sanaya's character being half-baked, she is still a far better actress than most of those actresses nominated, no offense.

But our producer is hell bent on reducing her to comic relief, neglecting her wardrobe, wigs and overall look...if the producer of this very show ignores her, how can you expect award shows to recognize her? Gul Khan made it a point to show growth and consistency in Arnav's character, but none in Khushi. Barun gets to do a wide variety of meaningful and intense scenes which leave an impact on the audiences (and god bless him for that because he can pull them off brilliantly.) But Sanaya never gets to do those meaningful scenes. Drama is always given preference over comedy in award shows...hence, her performance is overlooked.

I don't recall Barun winning anything for his previous show...but I'm sure he was just as talented back then as he is now. So why didn't he get the same recognition? Because his character was not as well-written as it is in IPKKND...so you see my point. Sadly, Sanaya gets completely sidelined in this show now...just look at crap they are making her do these days...we all know she deserves better. Lets hope the producer and writers start giving her some respect.

But if you see due to what she has gone through Vidhya Balan is shown as a murderer in Kahaani and in Dirty picture she is actually dirty. Characters go through change. Khushi is insensitive only to ASR and that too at times. For what she has gone through that is the least.

If you ask me these star plus guys look for a gopi or pratigya but cannot see the beauty of Khushi.

The people watching IPKKND are girls Su. So they love Barun. So naturally they are voting. Sanaya is just ignored because she is a woman.

People like the strong silent types and so MJHT worked. But I love the bubbly strong types and I am sure that many do.

Just my POV su, cos I am a die hard Khushi fan as well as ASR If ASR is unique for his difference Khushi is unique for her bubbliness

I agree Rima with u on the point that IPKKND is mostly watched by girls and Barun gets voted ..but I don't agree with u that Sanaya gets neglected because she is a women...as Sunaina had mentioned Jassi,Tulsi were all women characters...Tulsi (my mom's fav )started off as a young women before she matured and Jassi was not older than Khushi ...Jassi had a extra funny bone in her but her antics were never OTT.That's were the CV's have butchered Khushi...If there was a balance between her actions...she would be recognized my many more.I have a friend who works for a TV channel..and she told me that when they nominate the characters for awards..they look out for their overall popularity among the mass...I am hoping that Khushi should someday join the ever remembered characters of television and not another one of those forgotten character among the lots...

I have something to add here...maybe a lot of people will disagree with me. Having watched Sanaya in her last show...I know how talented she is. I started watching IPKKND for her and in fact I started watching MJHT for her too. Yes I have become a great fan of Barun and but that doesn't make a less fan of Sanaya so please don't think I am speaking with any kind of bias.

Gunjan was the least popular lead character from MJHT. Nupur was far more popular because of being a bubbly character. Star One Shows rarely entered the top hundred shows because of the low GEC of the channel. But inspite of that Sanaya as Gunjan managed to get noticed and bagged the ITA Gr8 face of the year at 2008...whereas Nupur didn't (no offense to Rati just speaking about the character).

But unfortunately as Khushi she has not bagged any individual awards this year. No matter how much the forum loves a bubbly chirpy Khushi and even excuse the OTTness because we love Sanaya/Khushi, the character is very inconsistent.

The point I am trying to get across is, in order to make Khushi an award worthy character. The cvs have to give her impactful scenes and if necessary make the audience cry and sympathize with her. If Khushi gets even with ASR by her 101 ways we might enjoy it but it won't leave a lasting impact.

The Khushi who begged ASR to let her go because she has the dowry papers is award worthy.

The Khushi who was trapped at the guest house all alone and cried to get out is award worthy.

The Khushi who blasted ASR is award worthy.

The Khushi who resigned from AR is award worthy.

That kind of scenes get noticed by award organizers and juries not the 101 ways.

But we don't get to see that Khushi often...if we see a glimpse of that Khushi once after every 4-5 weeks I am not sure if it will enough to get a nomination.
