again awesome post tant and doods. as a regular reader of the redux im starting to see the episode with a more analytical eye... thanks to ur post and everyone else who posts their analysis here daily..
i 100% with u doods abt promotion. if they would have put out the promo of anjali almost accident ... more people would have watch but with the apple promo more people got turned off as it looked like another tour of comedy. i hate family drama and plots but the truth of most of india loves family drama. look at the no 1 serial and see how they are milking the trp from flimsy misunderstanding. lots of drama, tears and taunts at the female lead = high trp. not that im saying ipk should do that but drama sells and prego anjali life in danger would have gotten more viewers to the show. also ur right they totally dropped the ball on promoting all the different tracks after the marriage. the holi episodes (the whole week was fantastic), bali honeymoon, heer ranjha track even the arnav visit to the gutas had some really great episodes and got no promotion what so ever. i have yet to understand the bubbly track (i only get what i get thanx to the redux post) but even that was not promoted. for all of this if they had promos they would have gotten them trps. we did have the khushi spoon promo which again angled at the comedy rather than the drama. and it was soo vague it never established khushi trying to get the truth from arnav.
coming to the episode...the only great thing abt the past two episode is the double entendre with the dialogs. today arnav's its time for me to get the rose and get the thorn out of my side was clear to me that its time for him to get his khushi (rose) and get the thorn called shyam out of his side. and that made me happy. also arnav giving sweet tea to khushi meaning he will be giving her his love pretty soon just like tant mentioned. again loved ur take on the apple that arnav was holding. i also hate to admit im loving khushi getting punishment for making arnav life a hell. she is all stressed out and panicking unlike arnav who is chilling and smiling. love it. like they say dig a hole of others and u will fall in it urself. i really liked that khushi kinda punished herself to me its almost her subconscious in play. in her mind she so badly want to believe the worst in arnav that she is thinking he will kill her but her heart is making her miserable, stressed out and frazzled at the same idea. i like khushi self flagellation's she did it once before when she broke up la and arnav. she was all upset and worked up while both la and arnav were calm collected and accepted their breakup.
