hiyas Sush and all SGs,
Just caught up with episode and man, that was a great end to what has been a very hectic day! Thank you CVs!!! Though seems like comedy makes a comeback tomorrow.
Just random thoughts today. Don't have the nergy to think this through...
I ranted last Friday and I quote "Khushi's hurt, broken heart, dreams and life are not highlighted, underlined, and set in bold times 10". Ask and you shall receive and boy did I get it today'.(I so love pretending that the drivel I post here is read by the CVs)
1) Khushi tries to resolve the issue by pleading for their better sense to prevail and ended up creating a bigger problem. Mr. Fix-it went to the root of the issue and saved the day. Arnie boy, will your shatir dimaag realize that the way to fixing the Shyam issue is Anji and not Shyam himself?
2) We now know what kind of a husband Arnie wants to be and what Khushi wants in her husband. Arnie is all about respect and protection (so very 1960 of you, Arnie!) and Khushi is all about the smiles, the little things in life.
3) Khushi seeing the man Arnie really is and comparing it to the face Arnie shows her. She has been through too much to dismiss one of them as being false. She knows they are both the sides of the same man. Her lines here were very telling
[Humen Inke liye] Pal mein itna pyaar, pal mein itna darr . Love and Fear, not hate. She is not a woman who can hate. Love. So, does this mean she knows she loves him? She already knows he is her raajkumar who has a shaitaan side to him. And Fear, is this where the promo comes in?
Kya hum inhe kabhi samajh payenge? Kya hai yeh?
4) The Amma-Khushi scene: This was such a touching scene. The mom knows something is not right in the relationship, questions the daughter but allows herself to be convinced that everything is alright. Khushi does what she does best, takes her amma's worries and swallows it to add to her already existing pit of misery.
Amma allows herself to be convinced because of what she said earlier before questioning Khushi. "Damaadji dil ke bade saaf hai". She has seen the Arnie in ASR because he has shown it to her. "Dono ke deekhane ka tariqa alag hai". She sees there is love, which coupled with her reading of Arnie, makes it easier for her to believe Khushi is happy.
Aww. Khushi! Don't worry. That idiot hubby of yours is blessed with the memory of an elephant, and you are going to get all of it, times 10 when he comes calling to patao you back. Right now the elephant memory is having a little problem moving beyond the terrace scene.
Which is already weakening a little? If yesterday, he was able to control his anger post the FB, today we see him actually let it go enough to dance and have a dhol rabba-ve with her before he lets the memory rule again.
And if Khushi has to deal with the constant will-the-real-Arnie-please-stand-up moments, Arnie got a taste of the same by being a spectator to the khushi-Amma and Khushi-and her friends conversation. For him, it is just beginning. Which is the real Khushi? The one who sleeps without a weight on her conscience, who had dreams that he broke or the one he remembers from the terrace scene.
And he couldn't sleep, could he? The questioning has begun in his mind ...
So the weddings done but they didn't leave for RM. He is so coming back and opening a repair centre to get her back, isn't he??
Note to CVs (Since I am pretending they read this)
1) Today, I did feel like Garima is a true amma. I haven't got that feel from the actress before. Now that Garima is almost fixed, can we fix Payal too?
2) Last Friday we circled back to the wedding day and today we are back to post pag-phere scene where Khushi vows to find out how and why. Can we please move on from here now and stop the merry-go-round??? Because if we go back to a holi like scene from here like before, I will not only sic the scalpel wielding good doctor on you but will also add a marathon runner who could fold you into anatomically impossible positions. Not to threaten you or anything. We are all Gandhians here.
