Hi folks...Here I am with my daily take on the days episode. It looked like we are coming to a "new normal"...

In the new normal...Khushi has decded to be the good wife...Being all nice, taking care of his stuff, not irritating him too much (too much being the operative word here), talking little nothings with him like a normal wife would do...Never mind if she thinks he is a good husband or not...she has decided to do her part...

He is a bit puzzled...but not annoyed...and watching the whole thing in amusement ...

that is until she pushed the envelope and send that perfumed hanky sealed with a kiss...😃...Arnie is really a city boy...being allergic to so many things...like perfume smell...God ...can I realte to that...when I go to the mall and people come swooshing those perfumes...I run off from there...trying to avoid getting a headache...Needless to say...I can totally relate to Arnies reaction to strong smelling perfumes...😆😆😆😆😆

So he turns his mean self again...when he calls her up...Khushi reactsto it like Khushi would...meaning taking excatly 5 seconds to come up with her next plan...Which is actually something to look forward to...It may be good to get ot of RM for both of them which is infested with one big snake...

The only thing good about Shyamu's scene and all the dumbness that goes with it was...that it was short...and it was done swiftly...so thanksyou CVs for THAT!

What I did like today was...this scene ...when Khushi makes him wait 1 minute before leaving...in a very Khushi way...It was iinteresting and done cutely! Sanaya shined in that scene and Barun was very good to with his expressions...

And here comes the pouty expression again...which is a hallmark for romantic tracks...so may be GH will be a better honeymoon site than Delhi mein Bali...RM

Overall, a good epsiode...Interesting, Cute, Well done...and no crazy stuff or misses to complain about...I hope this is the new normal for IPKKND for most episodes mixed with some episodes when they are awesome once again😃😃😃😃😃😃

Much better episode; finally they have found some balance for Khushi's character. She was OTT yet adorable; very much in character👏 Her antics were enjoyable & were there just to irritate him, "aap mere Governor ho"! Yes, it had the desired effect. He was annoyed at times, at times wondering, is she genuine or is she up to her pranks again? It also was close to what Anjali expected of her👏 Which man could distance himself from such an adorable wife; right blend of innocence, musti and lovable😳😳😳

What I didn't like - Khushi dismissing Shyam one more time. He isn't going anywhere & sooner she realizes that fact she is better off. Today he tried to hold her hand right under her husband's watch; in their bedroom with her husband just a door away. This is the second time he has violated their sacred space, their bedroom! While they were both in there! If that doesn't make her feel threatened, what will? When will she say, enough is enough?

Is it "mannat ki chaabi" or is it the real key? Depends on whether they want to drag this one out or move this forward. Why ASR would chose to keep documents in his closet as opposed to a safe someplace safe, beats me! Cheapo tycoon? ASR's vest was ill fitting - cringe worthy...🤢

The tycoon really looks beat up these days...Maybe he really could use the break at the Gupta's😉

Ms B.- Ms A. just a big meh...At least since she is in RM, we get to see Arhi in Gupta's without Payash piling on...So more power to Ms B...Bubbly, Shyam, Khushi, Anjali & Arnav, all orphans! What's up with that?

Who else is excited about the Maayka trip? What a welcome change; needed to see some fresh faces...Smart Khushi, some brilliant idea! ASR didn't think 6 months would be this hard, did he? He thought he will marry, get rid of her, end of story! Not so fast...He has to do go thru the grind...First the crazy wife, now sleep in the tacky bedroom with the tacky wife and pretend he is the sweet damaad...😆 Right now, ASR must be thinking "over my dead body" but he will be there dealing with the craziness of buaji, Happyji and the likes...😆😆😆

Will any of the Gupta's sense something wrong & spill the beans? My best bet; babuji either will say something incoherent or write something down. No Bollywood moment yet😆😆😆

Loved some of the pativrata interaction as silly as they were. She lying on the floor; vowing not to let him go, "over her dead body". He calmly doing exactly what she didn't want him to but she was quick to point out she has the keys. He gets annoyed but in a controlled way; she touched a raw nerve when she asked "you trust me?" He quietly listened to her babbling, obliged her wish to help him with his jacket... ASR just not as angry as he used to be; either he has just given up on this girl or he just doesn't want to hurt his baby...Aww...😳 9 or 19, he seems to adore this girl and has accepted her in his life as 3^rd class as he thinks she is...😍

Hey Sush - Nice to see that you were able to enjoy today's installment 😊 As for me...

Deep breath. Patience. This too shall clear. Eventually. Yoga. Meditation.

Monday. Middle finger. AGAIN.

Screw patience. How much longer is the comedy going to carry on???

1. Snake spills juice on the wallet, and makes a copy of the elusive key. If it turns out that the file is another decoy like the thread, the scorpion, the bumbling murder attempts - I'll have cause for justifiable homicide and no court on earth will convict me. 😡

Who feels like a drill sergeant herding a bunch of recalcitrant new recuits while watching IPK these days? There's a constant refrain of MOVE, MOVE, MOVE! running through my head while the story crawls an inch a day on its belly, then falls back into OTT comedy muck. 😕

2. ASR conveniently loses his sense of smell while accepting the handkerchief from his wife, but miraculously regains it at the office. Or is Chandni Chowk ittar imbued with magical properties that allow it to grow stronger as time passes?

Note to staff, carry a can of Lysol when walking into the big cheese's office. Who tosses a hanky on the desk after sneezing into it, especially when you have folks sitting across from you?

Ewww much? 🤢

3. So Bubbly/Babli is an orphan and doesn't like Payal. I understand, kiddo - I don't like Payal either since she became a desperate-to-please-everyone bahu. And what IS it with the constant blushing and coy looks? You're married now, woman! Get over it! 😡

The only thing I like about this track is that it gives Akash more air time - I always thought he was underutilized on the show.

4. The GH mama bear surfaces from winter hibernation 🥱 and remembers her cubs, just in time for KSR to plan a visit and demonstrate her "kilass".

When ASR threw his bride out to sleep by the pool - there was a lynch mob up in arms - ready to stretch his neck from the nearest tree. Everyone wondered which SP bahu's spirit had taken over kick-ass Khushi's body - poltergeist style, as KSR spent her days depleting the PH stock of glycerine.

A scant 8 weeks later - I can't help but agree when ASR compares her unfavorably to a 9 year old.

Mess with his mind all you like at home - but the office should be off-limits for pranks. CV's - my compliments on a job well done in destroying any sympathy the audience may have felt for KSR after the shotgun wedding. 😕

5. The SR's (Singh Raizadas), A&K, are maiyka bound. The hope is that this trip is going to be good for more than just slapstick bathroom and laundry humor. Not holding my breath - since the IPL freaking juggernaut is expected to last for another couple hundred dog years. 😕

(Due apologies to all the males in India, who are apparently connected to their televisions by umbilical cord until the final ball is bowled, the final bat is batted, the final wicket is wick'd...you get the idea 😛)

Anyway, a smart scriptwriter could have used these 6 months of marriage to explore the relationship between the two leads with sensitivity, maybe provided brief glimpses into their past, and had them draw closer together despite the MU. The audience would then be really conflicted - root for the MU to be exposed and break the fledgling bond, or let it linger in the background like a ticking time bomb?

And what do we have today? A story where viewers are begging for the MU to end - knowing fully well that this will result in a separation for the leads. In fact - just about everyone except the hyper-ventilating preteens watching this show would welcome a timeout for these two where they get sent to their rooms like cranky 3 year olds who missed a nap.

Opportunity lost. AGAIN.

Lady Universe you are SOOO right this is the new normal and boy I love it!!!!

Another day they dont try to kill each other and well I am a happy camper. Arnie wasnt perfect but atleast he trusts the girl and thats comforting to watch.

It was so good that I am going to give the Satyanash Moment's a break tonight and let everyone enjoy this but I have one thing to mention...Last time they showed Babli was a 5 letter word and not 6...unless her name is Bubbly...someone needs to clarify this ! 😕

- I like this Khushi and Sanaya is fabulous here. 👏 Without her "Governor" her life will be incomplete and its good shes playing the role of a good gharelu patni from now on. Atleast her antics arent too ridiculous.

-Arnie is just oh so Arnie except the ASR stays somewhat in the office and Arnav somewhat comes home wanting to be showered with her "patniness." The boy loves every minute of it and there is just no denying that.😍 What man calls his kerchief a Hanky though? 😕

-I wish Anjali accidentally goes and takes a shower with that bar of soap that Shyam took the imprint on. So silly! 😆 And I do wish if and when Shyam does make it to opening the locker he finds a note that says..."Buri nazar wale tera mooh KALA!!!" 🤣

-Khushi actually looked nice in this outfit and so did Arnie. Keep the jacket off and I will take him in the vest and shirt. 😳

-Nani is a savior to all of Khushi's woes ah love the woman! 👍🏼

- The noise makers were in the background making some noise and well I just ignored them 😛

AND FINALLY Arnav and Khushi will exit Raizada Mansion/Shantivan/Mental Asylum to hopefully lead a few normal and BAKRI FREE days in Buaji's pagal khana!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!! 🥳

After re-watching the episode I couldnt resist it so here it is!!!!!

The Satyanash Moments:

- Now the Shyam that letched over Khushi in other parts of the house has reached Arnav and Khushi's Bedroom. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! 🤢 And how does Shyam know how long does Arnie shower's for? Seriously creatives wer gullible but you are out to prove we are total morons!

- The jweeicceee falling on the wallet...another stupidly concepted scene. 👎🏼

- How did the notes dry in a mere 10 minutes? 😕

- So Shyam walks around with Soap bar in his pocket at all times apparently just to get a glimpse of this darned key!!!! 🤣

- Poor Payal is getting a royal beating here by this 9 year old. Serves her right...its being going way too well for her as it is! 😈

- I love Barun's english but why the fake Americanish Accent all of a sudden? 😲

- See ya Later...A for Alligator...😕 I think I just watched a glimpse of Sesame Street in a very intense (at one point) Love story!

- BAKRI ALERT- Jahan Piya wahan meeehhh- 😡 Even the Bakri is ready for the MU to end 😆

- Ittar and hanky with lipstick...um yeh...whatever! ALl of a sudden while hes presenting he realizes the smell...like hes had the Hanky in his pocket all day...🥱

- Theres just WAYYY too much hair on her head and his face...reminds me of this show I watched as a kid called Harry and the Hendersons...just tooo much hair...high time to ditch the wig Sanaya and meet the razor Barun!!!! Pretttyyy Pleasseee??? 😍

Sounds good. I haven't watched the show in 3 or 4 days nor have I read updates. In other words, the show became so forgettable and boring that a crazed fan (or used to be) completely forgot that the show exists. However, I am re-inspired to watch the show from your review. Hope it's worth it! 😃

Yes, the fine balance has been achieved -well, atleast as far as Khushi's mood is concerned. Today, she was just the right amount of wifely-responsible-childish-annoying and daring. Let's face it -the lipstick on the handkerchief was kind of a bold move.

Shyam's soap was expectedly ridiculous -if something actually comes of this dumb idea, I will seriously go "You've gotta be kidding me"

His ramblings about Khushi at Buaji's house -yet another play by the CVs at trying to make the viewers hope that Arnav has overheard something?

Ms B was forgettable again, I actually get the psychology behind her jealousy, but I really don't understand the need for her character at this stage of the game. The CVs are testing the already eroded patience of the viewers.

Coming to the scene that stood out to me in today's episode:

An irritated Arnav snatches his wallet back from Khushi and starts putting his stuff back where they should be. Khushi informs him that it's okay with her if he wants to count his money. His eyes shoot up immediately to hastily assure her that he wasn't thinking about his money at all; his expression saying that he really didn't want her assuming that he didn't trust her. From her smile, he realizes she was only teasing him about the money -she doesn't even for a moment believe that he doesn't trust her. She is going to be shattered when she finds out that the worst kind of mistrust was what led to their shotgun wedding.

I cannot end without saying this: The fact that an episode which was ho-hum at best has brought us such relief and hope goes to show how the standards for IPKKND have fallen 😭

I will continue to catch every episode as soon as my day will allow me to, but what used to be the most anticipated and pleasurable 20 minutes of my weekday has now become a chore to get done with. Will the maayka visit be the change we're all looking for?

The ball has started rolling with the access to the key. It will be interesting to see
how things play out next.

I loved the scene where Arnav is mum and Khushi keeps on talking about her todos for
the day and at the same time helping him getting ready. It was so Arnav and Khushi and
will probably be their everyday life scenario once the MU clears - very cute.

So the Bubbly angle gets interesting - she is an orphan like Khushi but has a stoic
attitude like Arnav, I am eager to see where this goes.

Arnav spending time in Gupta household - I never saw that coming. It will be such a change of scene and probably a good thing for him to understand her better. If only Bauji could be a bit better..!!

What most intrigues me is Arnav has barely spoken words, leave alone sentences when
he has been @ the Gupta household. Every time he has always made a beeline to the
kitchen to talk with Khushi. I think we have some really good Arnav scenes coming up
at the Guptas and am looking forward to it.

First of all, Pouty expression = romance... 🤣

Ask not what a girls to do when she falls for someone like ASR? Ask what a guys to do when the girl he has fallen head over heals for is someone like Khushi?

And then when you watch her prostate herself on the ground to prevent said guy from leaving, you just shrug it away. And when she decides to ignore the bad guy, you just jot it down to another of her Khushi-isms.

And then you say, Arnie, boy, you asked for this. She will deal with your ego and shatir dimaag and you deal with her Sanak. A match made in telly heaven.

I thought Khushi was herself today -- ignoring the negatives in her life is something she has always been shown as doing and the rest was just her. Welcome back, Khushi! you were missed. Please stay a while.

Things are ramping up and I am so looking forward to the Gupta House track. I hope they show some Babuji and Arnie bonding , doesn't have to be about Shyam necessarily.

P.S. One would think that Shyam would be very worried about this visit.

P.P.S Watched one of those videos which show the upcoming weeks track and watched Khushi's tearful goodbye to the raizadas before leaving for GH. A sign? or too soon?

P.P.P.S. Why was Aakash still in the weekend hai-movie and mall plan mode whereas Khushi and Arnie were in Monday morning mode? Honestly, Don't care...
