@Jamba 🤣 at your fiver for today. You didn't like dashing ASR in his bright pink-red shirt? It's called payback for all our complaints on wardrobe upgrades. One thing I've learnt with this show ---- be careful what your wish for. They slam you with it in the most unpleasant way.

I'm all for a hiatus until the IPL is done... in facts reruns of the show from last June onwards may just make us all very happy. But I think Sush made the point on an earlier thread that the IPL is just a convenient excuse to drag this out. The dream seems to be to hit 500 episodes and the only way you get there is by dragging this out in excruciatingly slow fashion.

@Vee - chalk some of my post down to sheer cussedness after a rotten day, but I really didn't expect this comedy after the last few days. And since I try and avoid spoilers and have no idea who Gopi is, it sorta blindsided me. 😕

@Sheila - lucky you! Couldn't even steal the hubby's car as we go in different directions!

Hey Sush and All,

I enjoyed today's as a stand-alone episode. In fact I was rofl at some of Arnie's dialogues.

Loved the soft display of emotions between the leads. Loved the brother sister conversation.

But my mind is drawing a blank when I try to apply logic to Khushi's behavior in the second half. So Anjali shared a few details about how ASR reacts to love. How would a normal woman react to that ? I cannot justify Khushi's OTT display of love towards Arnie. Would have loved if they showed her going all soft on him, keeping intact the hurt she has been feeling since last Thursday. She has some serious growing up to do.

Sorry to dampen everyone else's mood, but it is hard for me to accept the murder of Khushi's character in this way. I have very less hope that IPK will return to it's intensity even after IPL is over.

I follow a few other serials now, and I don't see everything coming to a screeching halt because of IPL. There is more to it than we know at this point.

I would be very happy to be proven wrong,

Hey Sush and the Spice Girls,

Hope I am not intruding. Loved today's episode!!! God, the swami thing. I have used that on my hubby so many times, it was hilarious to watch it on screen. And the "Damn Kartavya", good lord, I almost choked at that.

Regarding Khushi's response to Anji spilling on Arnie's behavior, there was a blink and miss exchange with the goat before she started her Gopi wohu speal. She says something like , "I know Di said, but I have to confirm it, right?". I seemed to me like she was not taking what anji told her at face value and confirming it in her own inimitable style. Or it could just be me trying to convinve myself that the one show I watch makes complete and logical sense. :D

I absolutely love the conversations here. Love ya, girls!

@sugar-babe said; there was a spoiler(SBS/SBB) floating around that said ASR will fall sick & they will show her softer side tomorrow.

I understand where you are coming from and how good humour and levity can ease a situation .Life is too short to live in regret and rona dhona. This is one trait that I certainly admire about Khushi but there is a point of maturity required for serious situations in life.

Also the complain with her characterisation is the "inconsistency" in her behaviour. Just the night before she tells the goat I will be away from my husband 24*7 and the next mornign she is back taking off his shoes. Its as if the cvs cannot make up her mnd as to how this girl should behave.

This is why we need to know how old Khushi really is!!! I think they are maintaining the childishness of Khushi's character because she hasn't really grown up. She really isn't polished, She got the message Anjali was giving her but her "Sanka Devi Self" got carried away.

That being said. I do agree the transition could have been made better, she did blow hot and then cold. I think na I had such low expectations of the episode that given that I enjoyed it, I am rationalizing all of the mistakes the CV's made. lol. But the trend that I seem to notice with the CV's is that once they have a big fight, they mellow down like after the storm there is a little peace. Mostly, we have seen Arnav upset that he lost control and hurt her or his anger was unjustified. Therefore, he is more inclined to tolerate her nonsense. With Khushi she tends to do the tandav on his head everytime he gives her a little choot. Ok thats my two cents
