ArHi- Khushi's single tear, Arnav's undoing.

Khushi was on fire today. She became a trigger today which wrenched out everything he being ASR had pushed aside after the MU ...

First her cutting remark which though was comical hit the wrong nerve with Arnav:

"Phir aape ke zindighi ke sabse ache aur Ranja ke zindighi ke sabse bure gadi ayeghi... hum mar jayeghe."
- Sanaya's expression were spot on here conveying Khushi's resigned disgust at Arnav - reminiscent of the time when Khushi told Arnav that she's leaving for Lucknow forever ... that is what he wants no? In both these situations Khushi's been at the receiving end of Arnav's wrath unable to understand what is it that does that make him hate her so much... or contend too...
These words cut deep for Arnav and I think he opened up to Ranjha's predicament.. more than he realised.



Lastly Khushi's single tear was so painfully beautiful ...maybe she go into the romance of it all but maybe she shed a tear because this is the Arnav she will never have .. one who cries at her demise in pain and surrow. A cruel and heart breaking glimpse of what she could have had with him.


But her tear was his undoing ... When he wipes away that tear .. every single word which follows is Arnav Singh Raizada speaking as Khushi had put it .. it was about their story not Heer and Ranja's .."I left you. I was trying to convince myself that mujhe koi faraq nahin partha... but you already know, I can't be without you." - I love that he says all this whilst wiping it away. It's as if it his subliminal response to Khushi's cutting remark earlier...

Also notice how he whispers the rest only in her ears .. I find it impossible for any of the audience to have heard his words after he took a bite of the poison mithai..."Jab jo bura kaha, uska koi matlab nahin. Jab jo bura kiya uska koi matlab nahin ..."

~ I'm still not sold on this fancy dress competition charade but I commend the CVs/writers for these few moments in today's episode. Beautifully written and wonderfully portrayed by SaRun!👏

Also Khushi throwing the earring aside in frustration!Finally her frustration is ebbing out - ASR has been on the brink of confessing to her too many times ... she's reaching her limits👏

i agree... i also find it impossible for the rest of the audience to have actually heard that part. it was sooo meant for only kushi and i think only she did hear it.

Nice post Ouma. You have made one after ages, isn't it? The enactment was wonderful of course, but what I liked even more was what happened after that. To me it felt very similar to what happened on that diwali night in November. She is again questioning him with that same confidence and in the same manner as she did on diwali night and he is once again pretending to not care. But this time, why do I get the feeling that the outcome will be different? Why do I feel the diwali night loop that opened then will close soon?

👏Absolutely true. 👏 Job well done ISPKKND team. Did anyone remember last time khushi to frustrated and made him realize what he did was wrong ie guest house seen he realized his mistake.

I think the fact that he said it so low is what also convinced Khushi that it was Arnav Singh Raizada saying it, and not Ranjha in the play. I loved that one tear - it was like Khushi was really thinking - this is the Arnav I love. This is the Arnav I want in my life. Poignant.

The HR play was still a bit far fetched, but SaRun pulled it off well.

That 'hum mar jayege' line was awesome...I think Arnav was more taken aback that she had resigned herself into believing this..that it didn't affect her as much, she just oh so casually said it. That's probably what hurt him the most. Barun was amazing here..the look in his eyes explained everything.

The last monologue..How the heck did the audience hear that? I'm sure that was for KKG only..I loved the last scene where they just simply lay and looked at each other..Both wondering, musing over what they lost and what they could've had...

Both wishing they really were living in a seperate world which doesn't have complications like Anjali/Shyam..Maybe they can finally be together.
