IP REDUX ; Conduit of Love *Updated*

Since I had a guest attack during the latter half of the segment & the first 10 mins were the one's I saw ..The distinct impression I was left with was that I was viewing some new show and IP has been shifted ...To say that I was seething would be putting it mildly but then calmer sense prevailed and I began to reevaluate the episode and I must say I was impressed by the clever use of the promotion of another show for the furthering the movement of the episode and the track..This was confirmed when I went to YT breaking my steadfast rule of not watching the episodes on YT ** Analysis ke liye kya kya karna padtha hai yaar**


The Young Guns put on a display of love to fool the old wise Lioness , but the lioness although not making a sound has realized that things are not what they seem, without sending out smoke signals, Nani Aka Devyani Singh Raizada resolves to bring the hot blooded young'uns closer ...

Today we add another strand to the MU track , It is the unraveling of Arnav Singh Raizada , what makes Arnav Singh Raizad, what keeps him going even when the girl he loves has betrayed him , What keeps him going when he knows that the girl he loves is in love with another man ...EGO !!..Ego keeps him going ..Ego as not in conceit bu Ego as in self esteem ..We have got the first brick that makes up Arnav Singh Raizada ..

Another instance I liked was the fact that though busy in bickering Khushi is conscious of her surrounding , she forthwith changes the tune and becomes the loving wife..The quick change rendering Arnav speechless but one cue from his wife, he catches on..a hint of smile in his eyes and he moves away...Khushi too walks away from there straight to Nani who is watching them with an pensive expression ...loved this scene esp bec while the couple are busily arguing with one another, Nani comes with the light blessed by God and stands there illuminating the darkness shrouding their heart , Khushi it is who walks towards the God and Arnav away ,,, his redemption is yet far away but Khushi's is nearing


Nani who has understood that the newly wed Arnav and Khushi are facing some rough weather decides to play cupid and become the conduit in awakening the love which has been lost in the mazes of MU ..I have always maintained that Arnav is more like his Nani than his mysterious father..Both stubborn, pig headed , charmers , arrogant, proud and adept in getting their own way by hook or crook , presence of mind... Nani by virtue of her life's experiences easily outclasses the LKG bachcha Arnav Singh Raizada... Arnav has no other option other than to stay on.. A hassled Khushi meanwhile has got a panic attack and she rushes towards Nani , squaking out that Nani's costume is missing ...With nary a feather out of place, Nani plumes herself comfortably, calls up Anjali , realizes that they are on the way, calls up the costume rentals and manages to get them to deliver a replacement ...She is one smooth operator ... no wonder Arnav's moves are shooo urbane and suave !!

Another reason I liked this was the way they Kept Khushi in character, when stressed Khushi eats and today too as soon as she realized that Nani's costume went missing, began to get tensed and to relive the tension began to eat Channa's... It is such little touches that makes us love this show more..


Shyam is getting very nervy indeed , He does not lose any chance and utilizes it to its max potential ... If Arnav is a opportunity grabber, Shyam is no less .. With none at Raizada Mansion, Shyam right away goes into Arnav's room in search of Roy's papers ... His search proves futile and his endeavor has to be aborted for once again Shyam is thwarted by Anjali'...interestingly while he walks away , the sacred thread gets caught in Arnav's cupboard with Shyam completely unaware of it ... Does this mean that Anjali's Prayers which were shielding him from the effects of his sins has withered and fallen... Has the cup filled to the brim and the day of reckoning nearing ...soon he may overreach himself and land on his head ..


The face off between Arnav and Shyam , subtle, pointed & ruthless ..Shyam slyly advising Arnav that he sould not leave as Khushi is HIS wife and at the same breath adding that had it been Anjali he would have stayed till the end , hs attitude saying that he is staying here bec Khushi and he are one !! Arnav does not fall for the trap, does not allow emotions to rule, he throws a contemptuous glance at Shyam and turns to do what he wanted to do ...A clear hint that Shyam's manipulative powers are waning on Arnav and that he will not be persuaded so easily the next time and nor will Arnav see what Shyam wants him to see but will rather make his own choice..



The curtain scene .. The final barrier when something effectively blinds Arnav from seeing the essential truth, A hurdle which will prevent him from joining Khushi..would that be guilt, would that be shame, would that be the ego..He stands there hurting , blinded, in pain but not a word escapes his mouth..The pain is internalized , the face remains devoid of expression but it does not fool Khushi who without any thoughts takes the first step, removes the barrier that prevents him from reaching her and stops her from going to him ... She reaches out and applies the balm , soothing him, healing him by caring for him, by showing him that he still matters to her and as if to reward this faith the auspicious yellow color of optimism , hope envelopes them ..



Then came the Promotion bit ..and I loved the usage of it ... the first song chikni chameli ..what did we see in that ... Nani drags Khushi with her and all begin to dance and enjoy.. The fun loving Nani and Khushi are joined by Maami who deserts Payal .. who too loses herself in the song and begin to gyrate ...lastly walks Arnav who joins this ladies, looks at them indulgently , Sums them up in one word ' CRAZY'... Did U notice ?? did You...If not ..lemme elaborate ... Nani, Maami , Khushi on one side ..with Arnav on their side BUT who was with Anjali & Shyam >>>>> Akash ...while Payal is kept equidistant as the impartial judge who can see both sides ...I am going to love this when it gets played out


The second song was a brilliant selection , Kudos to whoever chose this song and Applause to Arshad for doing justice to it by blending it into IP..

Am crunched wid time this week...but was waiting to read urs peacefully first thing this morning !!!

Thanths brilliant analysis...especially your emphasis on the lyrics to the last song.!!!

I enjoyed today's episode mainly because we got to see several layers as to the ArHi relationship.. a husband that covers up his emotions with anger.. and finally accepts his ego is what holds him together.. truly he had no intention of saying he did not want to give her the credit that was just typical ASR when he is at a loss of words or on the verge of unveiling more then he finds acceptable he conceals it with a biting comment meant to wound.. but K's reaction was a pleasant surprise truly what is he made of.. adored the sudden transition to a saccharine tone and more importantly the look of bafflement of poor ASR's face as she says no need to say sorry again..😆😆

The star for me had to be Nani she was aware of the underlying tension as they parted ways.. what I loved about this sequence was K's treading towards Nani and Arnav away when the time comes she will be a pillar of strength for Khushi one that will stand by her irrespective of the situation..a silent supporter similar to today as she stealthily
brought about a situation to bring her children closer together..

One of my favorite sequences of today was Nani and K discussing Heer Ranjha it was symbolic to ArHi's relationship in more ways then one.. also loved Arnav standing in the back watching a frantic K make sense of the dilemma no words were necessary on his part simply his presence portrays his concern his support irrespective of his wishes he will always be there in her time of need.. the dialogues were perfect similar to heer ranjha losing their lives their love on their wedding day.. ArHi lost one another their budding relationship was crushed under the weight of misconceptions.. yet their love refuses to fade away.. and it is gradually attempting to rekindle their emotions for one another..

Also loved the fall sequence but more then the fall I adored the concern K portrays at seeing ASR was hurt all differences were overlooked leaving only the love they felt for one another along with the realization that they cannot see each other in pain.. I loved ASR's expressions his features softened and he was lost in the moment enveloped in the love he has been longing for..

ASR is too cute truly the poor thing does not even realize when his frustration his anger dies away leaving him amused and admiring his wife from afar.. first when she was dancing Loved Mami here how cute was her forgetting phatti saree was her enemy for a moment these two will bond in the future.. both will enjoy each others company..😆😆.. but did you notice the wistful expression upon ASR's face of course after he labeled all three crazy.. he was amused but pleased to see how openly she had been accepted into his family.. his life.. What I loved about this sequence was him being right between the two sisters facing the women he loved and in front of the one that will eventually guide him towards his life.. helping him to face his deepest emotions..!!

I was pleased to see Shyam lost the string.. it symbolized Anjalis' trust her protection and without it he is truly a nobody.. left only to be exposed in front of his own... ASR will understand he is the only individual that would be snooping around in his room.. although how he treats K after this revelation is yet to be seen.. even if he no longer allows Shyam to govern his thought process..

On a final note I loved the song selection it was perfect for the current situation.. both are left longing for one another unaware of the others state of mind.. hoping one day one will finally give in and accept what they feel is far more precious then their ego's..ASR watches from afar K turns aware of his presence.. similar to them hardly ever being on the same page yet still loving.. she drops the earring ASR returns it completing her adornment in another sense completing her/himself.. they are incomplete without the other..!!

Edited I forgot to add.. why was she wearing the jewellery before she changed..

and I loved K's dialogue when ASR said the bag was too heavy .. I will get it you still have to carry the burden of your ego..😆😆 So true..!!

and ASR's concern for her going on the stage unprepared was adorable.. especially his logic ranjha was a man hence a man's costume his expression was priceless.. only if he knew Nani was well ahead of him.🤣

hae...i made it to the first page...i dint even see the episode till now..😆😆..so cannot say anything..but i am happy.

👏1. As sathya mentioned, i almost rewinded the pool side Arnav's dialogue to kushi jus to understand that he said "ego", i dint get it till the fourth time,but it is really difficult for a person who takes so fastly in real life to do that onscreen, wen he has so many other things in mind(his body postion, his dialogue n his expressions) u give stress to one syllable and the one essence of the dialogue will be lost but Barun u can do it.

2. I loved the way khushi caustioned Arnav that nani is watching us , i was laughing a lot seeing Arnav's expressions and i was like i need it more..i want khushi to do some more of it and as many say again before shyam and that time Arnav's expressions will be worth watching.

3. I jus loved mami,nani n khushi's dance in chikini chameli song, not because of the dace but it was like no one can stay away from khushi as she has her own ways of bringing everyone closer to her.

4.Sathya, i loved the way u explained how Arnav was facing khushi on stage and payal seeing them both and nani n maami standing with khushi.but does it mean that even maami wil ne supporting khushi?

was really really busy last week...so couldn't comment...this week also might do a small disappearing act...but i always read your post


apart from promoting the other show...i liked how they used the songs to suit the situation.
also nani👏...u could have done this much earlier😆anyway never too late😉
arnav wants to stay...but refuses to accept it to others.A guy like ASR to not even arrange a cab is unbelieveable😆even if his phone battery is dead, he could have borrowed Akash's phone😛...

i get a pretty strong feeling that nani purposefully forgot the clothes and asked for the heer-ranjha costumes...to trick ASR to perform with KKKGSR😃.

Also the scene when Nani and KKGSR were narrating the Heer-Ranjha story...
U have explained it really really well👍🏼...
