ASR is complex.

Not the regular guy who moons over a girl, serenades her and marries her.

I know a friend whose story is heartwrenching.

She had an ASR in her life. Quite literally. He was a hunk. He was a very good person too. But he was complex like ASR due to a lot of reasons.

She loved him with her heart and soul. He knew it. The whole world knew it too. But there never came a confession from his side. They circled around the issue. She always got some really weird mixed signals from him.

But people knew he loved her madly because when she wallked into the room nothing existed for him. His gestures and a few actions gave it away.

Finall due to family pressure the girl got married to someone else and he had still not confessed. But when she told him he broke down.

As far as this love story goes, the girl married the other guy. She attempted sucide but survived. But later she continued with life and now lives with her husband and kids.

The guy remained unmarried in her memory for 13 years.

So you see, an ASR-like character in your life can be quite fatal to love.

And perhaps that's why we see so little of Khushi's emotions. It is pure self-preservation and who can blame her?
