When I first saw today's episode it looked like filler but yet it didn't look like filler. Interesting isn't it??? Yes, there are couples of reasons for that. Firstly, we still saw some glimpse of last week's track and we saw some glimpse of the track that began yesterday. But before I start my actual analysis, I just want to talk to the editing team and the creative team. I had applauded the creative team for changing the track and getting back to the main story line within 2 working days but today??? Why I see the old banked episodes along with the new shot ones??? Damn 4 Lions gear up??? Didn't you all learn the lesson last week??? Fine, I have given you the benefit of doubt yesterday but today, naaa I am not generous now. You had enough time to do that. I know the "Bali in Delhi" track was planned earlier and some scenes were shot also but at least you could have edited some scenes today and introduce some new scenes. Why the editing was so bad today??? Yeah for you many will not figure out but that doesn't give you the liberty to just make a hotch potch of the entire episode??? I know you had to reshot to fit in the story but then it was needed to do after the criticisms, so had given the BOD yesterday and not today. If yesterday was continuous bloopers then today it was complete random. I was literally thinking how you had massacred the story line and what was on your mind when you were designing post holi episodes??? The Changing seq in the room was shot new and that scene had no continuation in the bedroom scene was that at the last of the episode. Why??? See the randomness yourself??? Yesterday Khushi came back to character but today she started the OTT behavior. The last bedroom scene where Khushi made the taunt at Arnav when he tripped (that too after the aggressive dance number???) and her conversation at the dinner was an old shot seq, you could have deleted it or you could have extended the Payal-Aakash scene or included Shyaam where he would recollect the dance of Arnav 'Khushi and feel the jealousy and agony. Where was the continuation of Khushi's emotional turmoil between Monday's episode and some parts of today's episode???
I didn't like the "Rose greeting scene", well I understand that was needed but the expressions on Arnav and Shyaam clearly explained that it was shot earlier. No, don't get me wrong, that scene had a meaning and a very clear scene to create the MU but the expressions were of a continuation from last week's episode. Now you want to know how??? Well remember the track that the Creative team wanted to carry on where Shyaam's new agenda to convince Arnav that he is changing and eager to move on with his life with Anjali. Did you get that now??? Look at Abhaas there??? Look at his expressions??? When Arnav frowned at him then Shyaam was kind of saving himself from his grimace and gave him the convincing look that he is changing and since Anjali's fav is rose also. It looked kind of reminding him of their previous tryst. Now tell me 4 Lions, is the scene should be like that after Monday's episode??? A BIG NO. After the Pool fight sequence and Shyaam's trespassing into their area and Arnav-Shyaam faceoff, does in any way this scene looked like a continuation??? No. How can the editing team neglect this kind of important scene??? This scene was very important for Arnav to misread the equation between Shyaam and Khushi and increase his confusion. WOW. You guys seriously amaze me. In one scene that you shot to show Monday's continuation with Anjali advising the newlyweds to behave like normal couple for a day and in another scene you show old scrapped track. Wah wah. I salute your thought process. Pathetic.
I am giving you till Thursday to seriously start the continuation in the story line without any bloopers and bad editing. I hope the message is clear. I am not the one analyst who will go gaga on Arnav 'Khushi dance and find symbolisms in that. No. I always see the entire episode as a whole and how it logically fits in the storyline and a part of the entire series. For me the story is important and not one dance of vengeance is anything in front of that.
Talking of dance, Tant has explained it's entire minute details. So, I will not even get into that but will say that I figured this dance was supposed to be a Ball dance with the title track but 4 Lions have redesigned it this weekend and included Arnav's vengeful dance number with Khushi at the end to create the misunderstanding with intensity.Now this is the equation of the trio that I wanted in the "Rose Scene". Tell me now do you see Shyaam here to prove Arnav that he is changing??? No. See the dance sequences here??? Shyaam and Khushi are not facing each other but rather Arnav and Shyaam is facing each other. Hence, the MU increased in Arnav's mind which resulted his aggressive dance just to pass on the message to Shyaam ' "you see how will I crush her life and you can't do a thing about her". But did he really do that in the end??? No, the hug between Shyaam and Khushi triggered him to erupt like a volcano but at the end the lava of his emotions came out from it. Fantastic emotional rupture.
Before I start on the serious loops that tricked me today while watching the episode, which is the "5% message" IMO, I will take this opportunity to really applaud Barun Sobti for brilliantly performing the dance number. I can guess how much he practiced on it this weekend, as this dance was added later on. You really outdid yourself. Good job.
Well as I said today's episode might look filler but we can surely figure out the 5% message weaved in it. There are couples of loops opened; actually one loop started yesterday and one today. I know I know I said yesterday no major loops opened but I had to get a confirmation that I received today. So, here I am with it. When I was watching yesterday's episode the one statement that triggered apart from all the characters that were back on track was Arnav's authoritative statement ' "Yes, I will say every time what you'll do and what you won't". This statement immediately reminded me of the Sangeet episode where in the changing room Arnav said "tumhaare ishaaron pe naa sahi par tumhare saath toh naacha". Yes, it was that day on the sangeet when they challenged each other and upon needed Arnav jumped in to save Khushi not even bothering about his own win. That day when Arnav uttered this I knew that there will be some day when he has to eat his own words; there will be one day when he will dance to her tunes; there will be one day when he will solely let her to take the decisions; Today again when I heard Khushi saying '"Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada humhein kya karna chahiye, kya nehin karna chahiye, har baar aap humhein batayenge" and Arnav replying again "Wohi hoga jo main kahunga". No. Mr ASR, the day is coming soon when she will hold the torch and that day you cannot stop her from leaving and you have let her go. Yes, there will be one day when the decision will solely be Khushi Kumari Gupta's and Arnav Singh Raizada will have to abide by. This loop that opened on Monday has a connection with another loop that opened today. Let's see the other one. Let me go back to my favorite episode ' "Post Diwali". This one episode is my favorite just because of the intensity in the pain in both of theirs hearts. just because their heart echoed equally ' "I want to love you but I can't". It was that day when Arnav almost had opened himself in front of her and he blatantly avoided her questions about everything; yes he did what he always does the best. Run Away. He ran away from her queries; he ran away from his own emotions; he ran away from opening up. But could he really??? No. He came back to her to find solace in her. Wow, wasn't this the tragedy of his life??? He came back to the ONE woman he always runs away from; he wanted to make her believe that he had found the payal by his pool and he had no ulterior intentions. Well did she ask him that??? No. more than her, this answer was for himself. This answer was to convince himself. But in turn he made her believe that ' "tumhein toh laga hoga tumhari zindagi ban gayi- ek aamir ladka tumhare payal ko seene se lagake baitha tha". Woh yeah. One day you are so going to eat your own words Mr. ASR. She was hurt with his volte-face emotions; completely riddled that her first love is incomplete. Today again he wanted to show her the same crude truth of his emotions. But could he really??? When Arnav said - "Sapne dekhne mat baith jaana", was it really for her??? Or was it only for him??? Didn't he dream last time when they danced together??? If he didn't have a dream then why he feels broken and betrayed and hurt??? Khushi then said - "Hum apna saara sapna aapke saath kaise jur sakte hain"??? Really Khushi??? if you didn't weave him in your dreams then why did you lock yourself up in your comfort zone on Diwali night and broke down into tears??? Then why upon knowing the true identity of Khushi's character at the terrace Arnav broke down in the middle of the road??? Did he not dream??? Then why when he saw Shyaam ogling at Khushi while dancing and Khushi didn't even consider looking at Arnav while dancing, he burst out seeking vengeance??? Why upon remembering the embrace of Shyaam and Khushi his emotions ruptured??? Oh yeah, who is dreaming here Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada??? At this moment, you both want to dream but you both cannot. Your heart and mind won't allow to.This Loop opened indeed. I loved these above 2 loops for I see they are merging when the truth and repentance will be disclosed to each other. As I said many a times, the moment Arnav will learn the truth, his repentance will start. That day he will leave the decision on to Khushi on whether she wants to stay at RM or not and he will simply abide by for that day even though Khushi will forgive him, he cannot forgive himself. I have always mentioned in Redux here that the "Terrace to Temple" loop will be closed with the confession and it will be from the "Middle of the Road" to the "Temple". Yes, that day Khushi will take the decision on what to do and her dreams will be the deciding factor for her dreams always are weaved with Arnav in the center. She will search him and bring him back from the Temple. Arnav's anguish will never give him the permission to be with Khushi but it will be her dreams and their collective dreams that will bring them together. Their ideologies are completely different than each other but they have always shared the same dreams; they have weaved their small world with each other, even for a moment; and that iota of dream is more powerful than any ideology. As I have said always when this happens they both will cup each other's face and shed tears of joy for they would have received eternity. Yes, that day they will declare that "hum apna saara sapna aapke bagair kaise dekhe" for as Eugene Ionesco says ~ "Ideologies separate us. Dreams and anguish bring us together".
