Thank you for this post! You completely spoke my mind, I couldn't have said it better myself. I've been thinking for weeks now about all these things that I miss in the show, little things like Arnav-Anjali, Khushi-Payal bonding etc. You are right! I also want to see Shashiji taking a more important role, recovering and helping towards exposing Shyam in the show..

the reason for the inconsistent segments/seasons/phases is only and only because the cvs dont plan ahead.. its all on-the-spot story writing.. can you imagine that IPKKND doesnt have a bank of any episode at all... such a story would be wholly trp-driven...

Everyone is blaming the departure of LM for the inconsistent storyline.. but the same LM has himself provided inconsistent stories in the past too

that was a more spur of the moment thingy that shyam did.. do you remember, shyam was getting insanely jealous watching khushi and arnav's growing proximity.. when he realized that he has indeed been caught red-handed and there was nothing else he could say in defence... he blurted out that khushi was also equally involved (just to get back at arnav)...

the whole money-aspect would not have struck him at all since he has been housed so comfortably in santivan for so long by everyone... its only when arnav stops transferring him the money would he realize... that he is not a son in the house but a son-in-law...

whatever arnav thought/felt/sensed ... he married khushi in such haste so that he could bring a temporary-yet-sudden halt to shyam's misadventures...

and many are questioning that arnav marrying khushi and keeping her under the same roof as shyam doesnt make sense... but then if shyam and khushi were to stay at different houses... then wouldnt it be easier for them to carry on a clandestine affair if they decided to...whatever be the case here they are surrounded by more people and it would be that bit more difficult for them to try anything out...

and shyam stopped his murderous attempts after the sudden khushi-arnav wedding... if he continued his murderous attempts on anjali dont you think arnav would now smell foul play...

i dont think the creatives have got it all wrong with shyam... its the khushi-arnav angle that keeps bouncing back and forth

Shyams character CVs may have planned it all along...And whatever he is doing can be justified over his a little psychic behavior. But A-K equation is not something which CVs should not be played with. It is the complete essence of the show. As of now there is lot of confusion over everything, that leave alone chemistry, I can not even understand the mathematics of arhi's Actions...

Very good post. Things are so haphazard these days...they jump from here to there and back here again...which leaves our brains spinning. And this week Sanaya's on leave, so help us god!

I'm tired of mami and Payal episodes and thoroughly disgusted by itchy fingered Snake!

Double marriage in the house seems to have stewed everyone's brains permanently.

So looking forward to seeing Anjali realize she's married to a skirt chasing creep!

Great post. Also, my list of what I don't want:

Please, no more of dhobighaat at the sacred pool. Let us have Khushi wash and dry her chunnis on the terrace. Terrace vaise bhi manhoos hai - all the bad things seem to happen there only. Maybe this washing will metaphorically clean out terrace ka manhoosiyat!

good post, agree with all your points and i miss all this too.and i just cant take shyam touching khushi scenes, they are just unbearable.i guess the gust if wind, dhak dhak and sensing each other will now come from time to time, ot became repetitive for some people who kept complainin g that this was ridiculous and its high time the story moved on as the initial attraction phase in their love story has passed.although i dont mind this at all.and as for the bonding, if you think about it for the past two months nobody has actually been talking to each other about any sensible issue.to prolong the track or delay the revelation of shyam to arnav, the cvs made sure there is no sensible conversation between any of the characters

🤗You've identified EVERYTHING I miss too.. from the ArHi specific ones to the Anjali related ones!

I also miss the ArHi office scenes but we got them back last week! Score.

As for "Dhak, dhak, dhak" - trust me I think the writers will bring that back after the conflict is over similar to how it came back for Khushi after Teri Meri!😍
