So much pain in the eyes of Khushi and Arnav. Khushi revisits beautiful memories of their shared past, and seems to be asking, Where has all this love gone? All her barriers are down. Her need for Arnav's love is so great that she can't bear to let him go. Her actions and her words come from her heart.
The way she cupped his face reminded me of the way Anjali does it, so often. Like a mother. Khushi sees his pain at her supposed rejection and the dawning of hope when she tries to halt him, and responds instinctively. She cannot stop herself from offering comfort to him.
The way in which she lifts his right hand and clasps it to her heart with both of hers was epic. She wanted him to feel her dhak dhak. She was showing her trust in him. She was telling him all that mattered...that he is important to her, that he is hers, warts and all, that she can't do without him.
Her overwhelming pain makes her ask him for an explanation to the terrible dhak dhak that conquers her in his presence. She wants to know why she is fated to remember a man and sweet moments spent with him even when he does not want her, humiliates her in every way possible, rejects her, pushes her away...She is least bothered about why he married her. Now all that matters is that her heart stops aching.
Her honesty and pain strike a chord in him. His walls fall like ninepins. She reaches his heart, touches him with a couple of sentences and actions. Arnav who had been searching for a sign for a long time, any sign that she cared, was floored by this complete surrender. The relief was writ large on his face, in his tiny smile, and the single tear.
I loved the way in which he clasped her palm to his heart. His palm enclosed hers, and a single finger of his held her ring finger close to him.
We got a repeat of the mitti-in-the-eye and the GH scenes today, the difference being that in the past he was otherwise committed and has no right to protect her. Today, he is committed only to her, and no one else has any rights on her. Only Arnav. He can carry her through the crowd, take her to YOUR POOLside, watch her sleep, clean her up, and stay with her till the end of time.
A word about the last set of FBs. After she rides Bediji's 2-wheeler into his car, & a furious Arnav returns home, Akash makes a statement that the dent seems to have been made in Arnav's mind rather than in the car!

i have one such post marriage scene in my mind..u gals remember Khushi imagining borth Arnav and shyam in one scene where she will be wearing a green yellow saree..shyam will say she looks beautiful and Arnav will say "is saree mein tum bilkul delhi ki auto rikshaw ki tharah lag rahee ho" i want a similar scene ..defi not with such funny dialogue where our khushi is trying to put some necklace and Arnav helping her out on that and huggin her from back and kissing near her neck..
