Usually, I'm a silent reader on this forum, but I had to do this OS. So this idea sprung to mind last night. It's a sad one but I don't know...I just had to. Enjoy!

One Shot: Feeling Him...
She had lost him today. Forever.
Her delicate cheeks were drenched with tears constantly flowing from her hazel brown eyes. She felt numb. She just lay there watching each and every moment of theirs passing by in front of her eyes. Their arguments, their fights, their pranks, their silent eye conversations, their kisses, their moments, and now she was there without him. In his words, it was 'unbelievable' that he was never going to come back. He. Was. Gone.
She remembered last night. He had found out the truth and had begged continuously for forgiveness, he had regretted every word that he said to her, which had cut her deeper than the last time, if that was possible. His eyes spoke volumes. They portrayed his regret and most of all his pain. She had tried hard, very hard not to forgive him but she knew and he knew that they both loved each other. After a long silence of an unspoken conversation, she had forgiven him because her love for him was far greater than the hatred she had for him. She remembered how he had hugged her tight, how she could smell him, how her heart had started beating rapidly, how he had picked her up and laid her on the bed making up for all the tears he had given her. She remembered him kissing her and with each kiss putting her heart back together, with each kiss healing her deeply cut heart. It was a perfect night.
And now he was never coming back.
She knew that he would've hated to see her like this. She knew that now she had to be the support system for everyone now. She had to be him for everyone - his family, his staff, his colleagues. She had to be strong for his Di, she had to be her 'Chottay' for her. Though he was not replaceable, she had to try and ease away everyone else's pain, she had to. She had to bring out the truth and tell everyone, no matter what it took because that is what he would've done. There were so many things she knew she had to do...
But right now, she just wanted to feel him.
She was broken right now. She wanted him back so badly. She wanted to hug him, smell him, kiss him, get him to shout at her, order her around, glare at her and then give her a loving smile with those deep chocolate brown eyes staring at her intensely. She wanted it all back.
She gazed up at the starry night with her blurry vision because of the tears and spotted a cluster of 4 stars shining brightly at her. She saw her Amma and Babuji, she saw his Ma. And then she saw him. The brightest of all the stars. She felt him. She felt him gaze at her. A fresh new set of tears sprung and made their way down from the corner of her eyes. He was with her, watching her constantly. She slowly closed her eyes and inhaled deeply and took his scent in from all his belongings scattered next to her.
He was there. And she knew it.
She felt him.

It was sad, I know. And I'm sorry about that but I really wanted to feel that love between them and so I had to. Now I'm depressed. 😭 But on a side note, that was my first Arnav-Khushi OS. I have done Maan and Geet ones but REALLY long ago...
