I think it's good to have some optimism and some romanticism. But, I'm trying to look at this from the writers point of view too.

Arnav is shown as a guy who has always tried to protect his heart. This is a guy who always said "mein dil se nahin, dimaag se sochta hoon". The minute his heart started to trump his mind - he got screwed over (at least that's what he believes). He's pissed at himself for being weak. Now, in order to get past the hurt, he is going to try his best to bury his weakness - i..e. his love for Khushi. It's not that he never loved her, it's that he doesn't trust that it was actually REAL. He feels fooled. For a guy like Arnav - who has pride and arrogance - he is thinking 'How DARE you play me. You played me, now I'm going to play you'.

I believe fully that the love will slowly re-surface with time and with the unravelling of the truth. But, right now, Arnav's actions are not out of love. Because if this is love, then I'd be afraid to witness his wrath. I want to believe that when he loves, it will be just as forceful - but on the other side of the spectrum.

cuz khushis standing there talking about screwing his sis over which is not done lol hes being caculative cuz thats what he is n thats what hes always been- a man of profit/loss mentality, a businessman. and the events just unfolded in the manner where he can hate khushi even without more reason cuz at this point the "rest of the affair" part could be conjured in his mind. people have a tendency to try to piece together stories and if a piece is missing they fill it in with what they think is logical. it's what were doing right now with this story lol and its something arnav could have easily done trying while trying to put the affair into perspective. its not like khushi was going to admit to him she was having an affair with shyam and so the fact that this wasnt something he was aware of is only going to force him to assume shes guilty which will in turn feed his hate
