Trust faith and love 3 keys to a relationship none of which he has exhibited in her eyes atleast,

The reason for ASR not discussing the hug with Khushi I presume was lack of trust in her... As you mentioned here Khushi's trust been broken time and again... once lost, trust will take time long to build... I guess Khushi will follow what Shakespeare said, love all, trust a few, do wrong to none. 😊

Such a valid point and at the end of the day it again proves how poorly thought out this track is by all the CVs. There were many things which could have gone wrong, for example the moment the wedding was completed, Khushi could have refused to acknowledge and act on the promise Arnav blackmailed from her but instead she chose willingly to go ahead and honour it or succumb to it (seems more fitting!)😆

Honestly we just have to wait and watch and see what else was said, done and agreed too, the poolside scene was not enough, we don't know how the marriage between them commenced, I mean it seems tricky to get a contract made and witnessed at such short notice, incredibly short notice!

As for trust in general, if I was Khushi I would take a long time ever trusting Arnav again, this is the third time he has done this to her. Their first being their first meeting at the night of Payal's wedding, to the diwali night and now - he's proven that one of the key aspects to his character is making rash decisions under heavy unfair assumptions. Anyhow at least it will be interesting seeing him struggle to regain her trust, I guess his is a character who can place everlasting trust in one second and take it away in another. In that poolside scene one moment really sticks out to me is when Khushi's voice softens and she says "Aur humne soch tha ki aapp ..." and she lets her voice trail off weekly because she genuinely let herself believe he would confess - third time. Khushi should remember that and make him word hard to regain her valuable trust. My annoyance with the track stems from the fact that he didn't even both to explain the situation to her properly or confront her about any of it!😕

Yep I noticed that too... some in this forum say that Khushi never asked ASR why he is forcing her into this marriage...initially I too felt the same but later noticed that she did ask something about agnee pariksha which he chose to ignore.. We have yet to see the future episodes but this track to me seems highly flawed... conversations never seem to be their forte... 😆

as a character ASR has always been too quick jump into action and repent in leisure... I am sure when he realises his folly this time he will repent doubly... 😊

I still cannot understand this whole concept of contract marriage. I don't think it is legally valid. You cannot get married for a fixed time period. Maybe he got her to sign divorce papers in advance. If he did, he is one superman who managed to get the legal papers ready in minutes (the time that he went missing before the varmala scene). And more importantly what sort of wedding did they have? A temple wedding? A court marriage? A court marriage is no joke. You cant married in minutes. One needs to register the names of the couple one month in advance and only then can the marriage take place.

With or without a marriage contract, if I was in Khushi's shoes I would find it hard to trust the guy. As you pointed out he has been one confusing character. One minute he is blowing hot and the other, he is blowing cold. He has never been shown to be consistent till recently and just as she got her hopes up again he quashed it ruthlessly. I am sure when realisation dawns on this man who has taken leave of his senses for now, the girl is going to walk away. He has to work really hard to prove he is worthy of her.

Loved your response Opti.

IN HIndi serial land...often the logic is missing. As you pointed out, court marriage takes a month in advance, getting any kind of papers ready for signing also takes time...and they have shown Arnav taking this decision within a matter of a couple hours or so...that too at night!

Till you pointed it out, I did not ponder over this much...what if there was no deal signed? What if it is just a verbal agreement? Seeing the varmala and sindoor, I though it was a a temple wedding.

I sure hope the creatives clarify these points.

Coming to the nice post Lady La La made...again, this is Hindi serial land...they will show her melting and forgiving him at some point in time.

I want her to actually leave after the 6 months are over.

She has been shown to take tuitions, make sweets, chikankaari saris etc...so she can work and be independent...granted that it is going to be very hard, especially if her own family disowns her!

And yes, after putting her through such a traumatic and humiliating experience, Arnav needs to work towards gaining her trust and love again.

CVs have not shown Arnav relenting. True, they have shown flashes of his remorse but not strong enough. On the other hand, they have always shown Khushi to be forgiving. But this time, he has offended beyond forgiveness. Khushi needs to make him realize that. It is necessary for his own good. Otherwise he will remain the same selfish whimsical individual that he is, and repeat this mistake again.

No, Khushi should not trust him after this. He should work hard to gain her trust back. But knowing the CVs, my expectations from them are very low.

The same questions came to mind. What kind of marriage was it? The cv's should clear it out. I think it was temple marriage, court marriage seems quite illogical.

They mentioned it in SBS/SBB too that it was temple marriage.

I think it is only a FAKE PRETEND marriage. It is neither temple nor court marriage.

Lady la la ...its ooh la la ..in indian serials always the woman should forgive men otherwise she will be branded as arrogant woman...and does it matter if its 6months or 10 years...when he release her from the contract nobodys going to marry her and mentally she is scarred for life if she did not commit suicide after all this humiliation may be that snake will want to marry her...thats the new twist of this IPKKND😆

Dont know what CV's had potrayed future kushi, but according to me kushi should not trust him easily like in history. To most indian raised girls engagement and marraiage are the most important dreams in life. Poor Kushi look at her engagement is a dhoka and now marriage with expiry date and blackmail. A slap from a mother and cant answer and face family with pride. Not something easily to gain back. Spin chilling,Common Kushi you can't that easily forgive and trust these two men who messed with your morals. Big time for you to teach them a lesson. CV's please sketch Kushi as tit for tat. Let Kushi come up with a plan/zabardhast twist to teach these two men a big lesson. Kushi Itna zaldi haar ney saktha.
