And that is because I am simply cant stop thinking how amazing this track is going to be. It has so much potential. As much as I was loving the tender and light- hearted moments between Arnav and Khushi, I did feel that a love confession at this phase of their relationship would be too soon.
Two such volatile and extreme characters need to go through much more to understand their love for each other.
Khushi still doesn't know the reason for this sudden, cold and unreasonable behavior of Arnav towards her. Here she was lost in her pretty world dreaming about a man, who before had held nothing but contempt for her, but now was showing a side of his, that subtle compassionate side that she never would have even dreamed existed within him.
And then suddenly, out of the blue, this same man just ruthlessly bursts all those bubbles, demanding her to get married to him, threatening to stop her sister;s marriage if she doesn't.
Since Arnav hasnt explained his reasons for doing so, Khushi is just going to think that she had been wrong about him all along. That he is the same cold, stone hearted person she had originally thought him to be.
She doesn't understand why he wanted to gets married to her like this and that too for only six months. With this one act of his, he has destroyed all her dreams that she had built since childhood for her wedding, he has killed her family's faith and trust in her in one second and most importantly, he has ruined his own image in her eyes.
Even though their family members were angry with both of them, it is Khushi who had to take the wrost of it. Not even two hours within her marriage, she gets slapped and consequently humiliated in front of everyone
And when Khushi will discover that all this has happened because of one misunderstanding that could have been avoided if he had simply confronted her with his doubts, it is going to kill her even more. She is going to lose all faith in love and marriage.
Add to that the harshness that will be regularly meted out by Arnav during this marriage, her personality will stop being defined by her name.
Arnav will continue to break her and break her(and himself in the process) until what will remain will be a shell of a person she used to be...
Each time he hurts Khushi, he will hurt himself too...he will not feel any peace even if he tells himself that he is doing this for his sister.
When Khushi's heart bleeds, his will bleed too, when she cries, his eyes will dampen too...
When he realizes that he had been wrong all long, the sheer pain he will go through will be much worse than the suffering Khushi will have gone through...
And then he will set out to pick up the broken pieces of the heart he had so willingly destroyed, mending it with some of his own(that is going to be another hell of an amazing track)...until finally they will emerge so strong from these ashes that no mere misunderstanding will ever be able to come in between them.
Sorry for my rambling like that but I am sucker for such angst...it makes for such a promising storyline. The build up for the day when Arnav and Khushi will truly realize and understand their bond, without any black clouds hovering above, is going to nothing short of fantastic.
P.S I have been reading some posts about Arnav raping Khushi...I think that is too, too far-fetched...no man who loves his sister like that will ever do that to anyone. He might be ruthless, he might be cold-hearted (even though all eveidence points to the contrary), but he is NOT a criminal. Plus the day that happens, the name ASR will lose its meaning...so I don't think the creatives will show such an absurd thing.
