I think it's because though Arnav is deeply in love with Khushi, ASR on the other hand is a clever young man, The reason he decided to stay quiet, I think is because ... he as ASR wants to punish Khushi, blackmailing her to marry him, and not telling her why, that is a huge punishment indirectly, and that way he won't have to maintain violence to show his hatred towards her, I mean he might do a little, but he won't be that ruthless, as for Arnav ... he might be too scared to hear the truth from Khushi, too scared to hear "I love Shyam ji", caz remember he thinks that Creepwa and Khushi love each other. or maybe he just wants to test Khushi, to see whether she's guilty, or what's the whole truth?
