This is just a fun post seeing how seriously the whole forum turned and churned over the last couple of days. I was catching up with all the episodes I had missed last week and found this faux pas again

Seeing how miserable our CV's attempts are at portraying good manners especially in the men I have taken it up on myself to start the FLS series on 'How Manners Videsi style can help you woo and win the woman of your dreams'. (Else she will only remain in your dreams if you persist in showing such loutish school boy desi style behavior)

Boys when you see a girl carrying some packages/boxes even if it just one dinky little box go rushing to her and pretend that it is too heavy for her delicate princess soft hands and that you would be happy to carry that for her and be sure to flex your muscles so she knows that you are a real strong man who will take care of her no matter what. She will soon swoon over you- think Archie Betty Veronica!

NK Tsk Tsk while I enjoyed your school boyish open faced grin while staring at your crushes sexy back I did not expect you to just stare open mouthed while she was clearly staggering under the weight of the packages. Arnav sigh I am cutting you some slack seeing as you have never wooed or loved any woman in style prior to her but buck up I expect more of you and judging from some of the later episodes you are getting there.😊

By the way does one of the CV's seriously have it in for Sanaya/Khushi and deliberately writes scenes with heavy luggage baggage package for her to lug or carry? 😉Methinks yes for I don't see anybody else doing the same

Speaking of manners it is crass and dclass to think that only 1 character is pivotal for the show and others don't matter you demean the other leads who equally put in hard work and without whom the show would be nothing. I don't look forward to soliloquy's by one person only unless it one by a Shakespeare thespian actor like Sir Laurence Olivier or Richard Burton

Kitty

I guess to create the Arhi moments they had to make her keep coming back to RM as him hanging around her place otherwise just wont work and speaking of work much as we did love the whole office track I doubt they will go back to it as family drama is what keeps the serials going

After moving back to India I discovered that there is this whole new socio-economic stratum that I had no clue about and one that has been in place for decades if not centuries and weird as it may sound but it is precisely this class and economic acknowledgement that keeps the working relationships on an even keel. That said I still find it hard to accept the lack of common courtesy and civility and hopefully one day things will get better.

Having not that much of interest in any of the other soaps I am kind of wondering if this is a norm among characters or am I taking too much exception due to lack of cultural awareness

yes Kitty i know exactly what you mean and well honestly a couple of times when i did thank they tried to take advantage so that also was another learning experience and I guess I just have to figure out how to go about it without offending anyone😊
