Vast improvement today and it shows how well an episode can be done despite the lack of one of the leads for most of the show.
Good Points
-I've always wanted to know how Khushi named Arnav in her phone. I suspected it would be Arnavji rather than Laad Governer no matter how cute the latter would be so I'm happy :P
-Arnav being jealous is so cute and it's good that Anjali got to see it. And then as usual we have Arnav half starting a sentence and then coming to his senses and making some ASR type excuse to get out of sounding like he cares.
-It really seems like Nani and Anjali are going to be subtle in their awareness of Arnav-Khushi which is something I am grateful for because I really think the two need more time for their feelings and relationship to develop without outside influence. 'Chote's gone to look for his Khushi' finally the double meaning every fanfic ever has mentioned a million times makes its way onto the show! :D
-Deepali got to display some acting skills for once! I liked her impression of Mami almost as much as Khushi's. If only she was allowed to display some of these skills as Payal.
-The scene where Arnav picks up her bangle I'm sure everybody knows pretty much mirrors the scene in the jungle but there's a subtle change of expression that Barun manages to handle so well. In the jungle there's fear for Khushi's safety but he's also confused as to what could have happened to her. In this scene however there's only fear for her safety. It doesn't matter what's happened to Khushi or how it just matters that something has.
-The fact that Arnav falls over shows just how worried he is about Khushi and of course story wise it's also a way for him to see the shoe obviously. Apart from this the only other time we've seen Arnav even slightly uncoordinated is when he was weak from illness and when he tripped over. Both times Khushi was there to stabilise and help him but this time he actually falls and all there is of Khushi is an abandoned shoe. You can see this as a possible hint at the future after the separation/hatred track where Arnav realises the true worth of Khushi in his life and needs her there only for her not to be there. ("When you finally recognise God controls your fate, I won't be there on that day.")
-Barun needs to run more often in the show. I say always keep him running. All the time, running. Run. Run Barun, run like the wind. (Guess the quote and win a prize!)
-Sibling scenes! Although I do want more Arnav-Akash scenes , I still liked this one.
-Mami's style of talking is so much more fun when she's not just saying 'hello, hi, bye bye' all the time.
-I like how we're getting to know some of Anjali's feelings regarding her broken marriage. She dwells on the past less than Arnav but it's nice to know she hasn't completely gotten so immersed in her poojas and fasts and forgotten that the past happened at all.
-Barun portrayed Arnav's distress so well. He's not sure whether to run after the ambulance, or got back to get his car and he's so distraught he can't even say Khushi's name despite attempting it many times. I also like the particular flashback that Arnav remembers, where he explicitly told her that her existence meant nothing to him.
-I hope when Arnav finds Khushi tomorrow he hugs her. More than a kiss, I've always wanted Arnav to actually hug Khushi, ever since that hospital non hug.
Bad Points
-Nearly a minute in repeated footage just shows how far behind they are with shooting schedules. I really don't understand how they can have such little time between shooting and airing. It means they have no error margin and that really shows sometimes.
-Anjali and Khushi looking in different directions made it hard to envisage exactly where Arnav is supposed to be standing and the wide shots where there's not even a body double to give us a reference point make it harder.
-Khushi still only looks annoyed with Arnav so how can anyone even think she likes him?
-Why doesn't Shyam hear anything while Anjali and Nani were discussing NK and Khushi spending time together? Didn't he hear this and get angry? Because he's sitting next to Anjali the whole time. He hears them again when Anjali tells Nani that Arnav's gone to look for her. In one way you could assume he's so taken up by his fire-plan that he doesn't register it once but to completely miss a mention of Khushi with some other guy twice?
-Oh God! Is Shyam still on that make her catch fire thing? At least Nani has a brain unlike Anjali.
-Seriously these people get so hyper over a cough and yet do nothing to find out the origins of an electric wire in a pool or to kill a rogue scorpion in their house?
-Why couldn't HP get the water? Or did I jinx him yesterday by celebrating the fact that he managed to stay so long with the Raizadas? :P
-...Wait. Are you saying Akash lied to Payal? Or at least let her believe that he'd already told his family the truth? Naught Akash. I didn't expect this from your character.
-Nani calls over Buaji rather than Payal's mother. Yes Payal's mom follows but still, no!!! Garima is your daughter-in-laws mother, not Madhumati!
