I think I spotted some! ๐Ÿ˜†

Arnav finds the ring after he steps on it. So, that could mean he crushes out the dirt from KKG's life before it goes around to the closest members of his family for a (symbolic) "blessing." The ring also gets washed clean in milk, which symbolizes purity and fertility. ๐Ÿ˜‰ So, when he slips it on her finger, it is pure!!

And, yes it was just slipped on halfway, but he had already left his mark on the other half of her finger, with not just the bandage, but also the glass he broke, AND the shove he gave her, which resulted in the cut.

Your thoughts are well placed. We already have ASR put sindoor on her, it is deemed an accident all the same it happened, duppatta on her head accidently from his hand but it happened, he broke her fast when she fainted, was not planned but it happened, placed a bandaged ring at the auspicious time on her finger, that was well timed, all that is left is for her to have the bangles to complete the circle leading to the proposal, if this is not the final results after all of that then the creatives is of the thinking that they can play with the cultural values by allowing all of this to take place and go against it.

It is one thing to have fun with unsaid words but another to have the values we treasure as sacred be made a mockery of. I don't think that it would be the latter, so, I stay hopeful that the Maha Episode would allow the reality of all that happened accidently, bring ASR and Kushi finally together even accidently.

Could you or anyone else be kind enough to explain all these traditions to me? Were they all supposed to lead up to the marriage, or the engagement? Are they common enough that ASR/KKG would now know that the circle is complete for them, save for the bangles, so to speak? I suppose that's why the kangans were brought out in the serial and made quite prominent? Also, is there a specific order for these traditions, and were they carried out on the show in that order too? I'm curious enough to ask now, because all of it fascinated me from the get go. Specially the sindoor epi and the breaking of the fast were beautiful. I'm thinking the one with the bangles will be lovely too. ๐Ÿ˜Š
