The Rakshas just has to be in control, he sees losing control as the ultimate weakness.. a defeat! Losing his parents and whatever difficulties he went through in his early life that was outside his control has made him more determined not to believe in god or fate and take charge of his own life.. be in control!

Gawd! I cannot wait for him to lose it!

Excellent analysis of Arnav. It is for this reason Khushi will never be able to ignore him or hate him, no matter how much he pushes her away and hurts her. She will be the one who will peal the layers that covers his soul and make it shine as it should. The man is capable of giving extreme happiness as he much as he gives extreme pain. Once his festering wounds are healed by the innocence of the one woman who managed to pierce the shield behind which he hides and caught a glimpse of the real man he is, the original Arnav will be restored. The question is how much more blood shed do we need to see before these two hearts become one.

Amazing!
You have managed to capture and write down exactly what is lurking behind the persona of ASR...something a few members here cannot grasp.

He is not perfect yet he is not the villain. He is not a cartoon as most SP heroes are-in fact he is the most realistic one I have come across (bar a few scenes which are just usual SP hero antics)

The whole point of creating this character so complex was to create a story that a girl like Khushi can figure out the real Arnav and call him out on it...which is the reason he fell for her and is the reason he is pushing her away from him.
