I feel that there are many similarities between Khushi and Arnav that will come to light.
They both come from families where they feel like the black sheep. To me it seems the rock in their families, their confidantes, whom they are ready to live and die for, are their sisters.
And now the reason why Arnav will feel a connection to Khushi. Arnav's pivotal moment in what shaped him seems to be a tragedy that arose out of his sister's wedding or non-wedding. Out of that devastation rose all of the rejection, pain and loss, not only from his family but also society. Now, it seems that he is the cause for the same tragedy falling on Khushi and her sister.
I think when Arnav will see Khushi in his office, he will know she is there trying to rebuild her life after facing a similar situation he faced. But he will see that unlike him, she has not turned against the world, instead she is embracing it. That is what will draw him in. While he shunned the world, she faces it head on with a smile.
(of course, this is only my point of view of what awaits us. heaven only knows what the cv's are thinking)
