Today happens to be Ghalib's Birthday... quoting his own shaayari as a tribute to him...A thing taught by our age old practices... you take a bit out from a huge ocean and give it back to the ocean as a tribute!

Kitna Dur Nikal Gaye Rishte Nibhate Nibate,
Khud Ko Kho Diya Humne Apno Ko Pate Pate,
Log Kahte Hai Dard Hai Mere Dil Me,
Aur Hum Thak Gye Muskurate Muskurate...

Tanhaaiyaan trailer starts with Barun's close up and Ghaalib's shaayari in the background... Gorky had posted a pic of Barun, in a sad frame and said the way he portrays pain, only he can... I fully agreed... When the Shaayari is going on, the exact pain depicted by Ghaalib is brought alive in Barun's eye, in Barun's posture, his body language, check it out...

Aah ko chaahiye

Ek umr asar hone tak

Koun jeeta hai kambakht

Teri zulf ke sar hone tak

Maana ke tagaaful

na karoge lekin

Khaakh ho jaayenge hum

tumko khabar hone tak

The shaayari is so beautiful, couldn't help but use it in my FF chapter... genuine sincere hundred thanks to Ghaalib for having created it...Check out if you find the fitment good enough in Barun expression celebration.

A few months back, IPK3 show was on and the beautiful ADNI chemistry inspired us to write to share, to discuss everyday... Sharing a sweet discussion once done with friends on Ghaalib and a beautiful link started where everybody shared Shaayaris...

https://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4902809&TPN=3

In one of those links, sweet innocent Priyu shared this ... forgot the post where she put it but the sher has remained in my heart

Mana ke dil hai ek magar pyaar bohot hai
jab pyaar horaha hai to inkaar bohot hai
her lamha saat rehne ko mein soch raha tha
wo keh rahi hai pyaar me itwar bohot hai...

Wah wah Neha di 👏
Agreed with gorky no one can portray pain the way Barun can. And tanhaiyaan has been one of his masterpiece.

Masterpiece in every way... right from the trailer we could see how his active prowess improved far more... like a wine maturing and tasting better.

Gorky's photography for Barun worked so well... His looks take your heart... but mostly what stays in your heart is the pain he brings alive from Ghaalib's beautiful sher

Actually, the sher should be recited by Meera... as it's Haider who needs to sort out his tangles... but they knew it's only Barun eyes which make justice to that sher

I had never expected him to pay a character like Haider so flawlessly. I used to always think he is only suitable for no nonsense type serious roles. But he had again proved his versatility through Haider.

Yes right only Barun's eyes can make justice to that Sher.

Even in ipk3 the scene where he is standing near the window and reciting "Chandi dhoka hain" wala sher he looked so hot n intense. 😳

Absolutely... n his voice modulation fantastic... I mean the way he recites "Aapko dekha to saath..." just the audio part and then "Chandni Dhokha hai..." the audio part... you can feel the vibe different in two...

Hot and intense😳😳 itna jyaada... that our breath is caught in our throat... When that episode aired, in that shot, I was just a moment away from actually biting my nails in anxiety... kya karega yeh banda ab aage!

I know di.. His voice modulation is perfect.
While watching the romantic scenes I used to blush. Apko yaad hain woh epi where he says Chandni "duppate k bina jyada acchi lagti ho" or the way he used to address her as "bhagyawaan". Yar real life mein ASR types kyu koi nai milta? 😳

Wow! That "Dupatte ke bagair..." dialogue of his I liked it to so very much... that I used it in my SR in first chapter, when he 's undressing her n she feels shy... Kaash kaaash kaash Munda phir se voh dialogue sach mein vaise moment par bolata... hum sab heart fail hoke mar jaate😆😆

Bhagyavaan his superb voice modulation also I loved so much... I have continued it in my FF right till now... he uses it to goad her...

Hey! Real life mein to Barun khud bhi ASR nahi hai... aur thoda thoda ASR har kissi ka hubby hota hai...Bas tumhaare paas use vaise dekhane ki najar chaahiye

Nowadays, I feel so sad when marriage relationships fail all around us... the problem I feel is about having fixed notions about how should hubby behave... the moment one learns to see his love in all his actions; you'll find life's best happiness there.

Yes di I remember u have used all of it in ur FF. that's why I feel as if I am watching the serial whenever I read ur FFs. Hahahaha. haan ap k FF ki tarah agar serial me bhi aisa kch dikhata toh definitely hum sabko heart attack ho jata
😆

The problem with relationship these days is everyone tries to control the other partner. Marriage is more like partner ship jaha ap dono sath me sab kch manage krte ho putting aside ego and fixed notions. Agar koi baat pareshan bhi kr rahi hain toh aaram se apne partner ko bata dena chaiye. Clear communication always helps prevent misunderstandings but people prefer assuming things and later try every possible way to prove that they r right instead of thinking rationally and focussing on sorting out issues.

By god if I ever get married na ap se hi relationship advice lungi 😆

I totally agree with you Sharda.

IPK3 was the first show I saw of Barun. After the show went off, I watched Tanhaiyan just to catch a glimpse of him again.
Like you, even I thought he is fit for playing an intense role only. I was in total denial that the flirtatious guy I was watching, was Barun in a different avatar. He carried his role with sooo much ease. Although, I think the guy needs a bit of training in the comedy timing. At times, he did look like his smile was forced a bit here and there. But those eyes, those emotions, the pain, ... man, he takes everyone along with him in each scene.
Just the scene, where he thinks, he hesitates ... to touch the Laptop of his dear friend - that scene itself is too much ya. I mean, the guy can make LOVE to a LIFELESS LAPTOP too 😆 And to make you fall for even such a sulky scene, is where the Actor in him wins hands down !
