Hey everyone sorry I was gone yesterday, please forgive! And enjoy!
Note: Episode analysis is lengthy. Too much already happened in the first ten minutes. It's hard to wrap my head around so many thoughts while writing an analysis.
Note2: This title goes out to Shikha, Indrani, Advay, Shilpa and the writers themselves.
The episode starts with Shilpa and Advay watching over Shakun and her mysterious phone call. She has a mister. Betraying her absent husband is she? Shakun is the weakest link I guess with such a big secret. I should remind you all that Shakun is not how she appears to be. In Episode 1, she speaks in Paheli: (which is what we are going to call her poetry language from now on) specially about teen chirayas, ek kahani, (3 sparrows, one story) two servants and one rani. The poem was meant to describe the power imbalance amongst the sisters which put Indrani on top in a triangle above her two other sisters.
Shakun has always been the weakest link because of this. Advay attacking her now only means he realizes that he was wrong about Chandni being the weakest link. Which is good because our girl was never weak to begin with.
The scene shifts to PP and Chandni in the car, and might I say, PP is creepy. He's getting mixed signals from Chandni. Chandni is trying to get dirt of Advay and PP is trying to sleep with Chandni.
Meanwhile, Advay leaves Shilpa with sneezing Shakun to watch over while he goes to the guesthouse. Chandni and PP reach the guesthouse. They sneak in and PP is still not understanding her, he thinks she went to get changed and goes to the bed with ALL his hormones on overdrive. Chandni starts searching for things in Advay's room she stumbles onto a drawers. It's locked must mean it's important.
Chandni, using Dev's strength, unlocks the drawer using her hair clip. She takes out a file and examines it. Chandni missed the picture of her younger self with Dev. Saddening. Chandni takes PP and leaves with him. They are not seen by Advay, who was just approaching the house. I wonder what the file has. I hope it's something good. The Dev reveal will likely take some time. I feel as though we should get rid of PP soon. His presence is disturbing.
In the meantime, Shilpa finds that Shakun's lover is at her door. Can anyone just enter this house? Even Advay got in so easily. No security, huh? This man is clearly romantic as heck that he came with his balloon heart on his chest. Shakun and Mister hug. Shakun closes the window/door. My goodness what does that mean. This affair does explain why Shakun has an absent husband. This was probably always meant to happen for the story to continue it because Advay has no leads and can't woo Chandni. Shilpa calls Advay with excellent news. Advay, was in the middle of sensing. Someone was here, he goes to check the drawer but is stopped by the call. He is happy to hear. I wonder if Advay's house has cameras?
Chandni returns home to Shikha, she says she will explain her situation later. Shikha says Katto Gilhari and Chandni is triggered by memories of Advay saying it to her. Chandni forbids her sister from saying it. Shikha digresses and drags Chandni to get ready fast.
Indrani appears menacing before sweetly asking if Chandni has gotten ready. Since Chandni hasn't, Indrani orders Shikha to help Chandni.
In the next scene, and after ages of being gone, Veer appears. He is replacing his friend as Rajveer Singh. He is set out to prank Shikha for her kaand. He plans to make Shikha fall in love and then leave her in two weeks as payback. First of all, what the hell? I will get back to ShiVeer. This is crazy, because Shikha does something equally bad. I will say that Veer just reached Advay and PP level for sleaze-bag. Veer is basically doing what the other two are doing. Advay, getting a revenge by making Chandni fall for him, and PP, who plans to sleep with Chandni and then leave her.
Side Note: Why are some people so dumb? Is this show going to have only dark love stories? Traitorous love is this show's theme clearly.
The Va'Sisters are ready and walking. Meghna and Shikha taunts over PP but Chandni assumes they were talking about Advay. They tease how Chandni always goes round and round to talk about ASR. Chandni is unamused.
Veer is in the Haveli. Shikha spots Veer and is immediately enraged. Shikha does not even listen to Chandni or Veer and why he is here, she simply breaks the equipment. Shikha picks up a rod and goes to strike at Veer. He sucks under it, and PP is hurt instead. Everyone is mortified, including Shikha. Shikha is told that Veer or Rajveer Singh, was here to see Indrani's daughters. Indrani fumes. Shikha tries to explain why she did this but Indrani refuses to listen.
In private, Indrani lectures Shikha, she explained that anger builds nothing for no one, it simply destroys. Shikha tries to explain herself but Indrani still doesn't listen or want to believe Shikha. Indrani demands that Shikha apologize to Rajveer. Shikha is shocked.
In a different scene, PP calls out to Advay, PP got hurt on the neck. PP, almost unnecessarily cryptic, narrates the story of how he got it. He mentions no names but talks about Chandni. From the way PP spoke, he made it sound like her slept with Chandni. Advay, noticing the scratch and hearing PP, assumes that Chandni and PP might have actually slept together. PP is about to get into the better details but silences PP because Dev can't hear it. Dev can't hear about this conquest. Advay concludes that he is simply here for revenge and he should care what Chandni does. Honestly, if I hear Advay calling Chandni characterless I might have to call on hypocrisy and stupidity. One, if PP did sleep with Chandni he would be gone by now because he said he leave right after; two, he lived in the UK, premarital sex is not uncommon. So he can't call out Chandni when he lived Ina society where it was totally normal. Don't be ignorant, Advay. You are better than that.
Now onto the rant portion of this review.
First, I'd like to say that along with Veer, Shikha is wrong. This is not how you respond to someone, even if they are partly responsible for breaking an engagement. What happened to Radha was entirely on her. She was engaged and yet she choose to walk with a man who had a big car and left when she realized he wasn't rich. I wouldn't want my child to marry someone who is so interested in money on such a level where she thought to cheat on her fianc because she found a guy with more money. Would you want your child to marry such a person? I hope not. Shikha responding this aggressively says a lot about her. Not only did she not listen, she broken expensive stuff and Chandni's "fianc" got hurt.
Second of all, what Veer is doing is equally wrong. And that's what's wrong with this pairing. They are already so messy for a side pairing. He plans to make Shikha fall in love with him and then he breaks her heart. That is not a response to someone who is horrible. I apply this to Advay and PP as well. You cannot just walk into someone's life and betray them in cold blood. What does that say about you? Especially for PP and Veer who have dumber reasons. Veer could have called out Shikha in front of her family but chose revenge, like his older brother. I think Advay and Veer will bond over revenge, it's very likely. Veer is going down the same path as his brother, revenge must be a family problem.
Third of all, people in this story need to learn to listen. This is a genuine problem for most people in shows and real life. Atleast 4 people, excluding the writers, have ignored this logic just today. Advay didn't listen to PP's entire story and now he assumed ChaTham had an ONS. Shilpa didn't listen to Shakun and Mister's conversation which would have been excellent to record. Shikha did not listen to reason and recklessly destroyed everything and hurt PP. Indrani did not listen to or believe Shikha because she threatened Chandni's marriage to PP. Which is why the title is you need to learn to listen. Maybe important information is being passed down to you.

In the last scene before the Precap, Chandni, Shikha, and Meghna stand in a triangle, not facing each other.
Side Note: why aren't they facing each other, this is sucha weird way of speaking to your sisters as the camera goes around you.
Chandni and Shikha rant together over their respective man and their problems. They will allow Advay and Veer to walk around this house and plan to get rid of the boys. Meghna is silent. She smiles and frowns. They don't show her face much. She has no lines. This is likely because Meghna hasn't gotten her Mr. Right. I hope the workers listen to us and get her a proper guy. Maybe the real Rajveer Singh.
The Precap shows Advay and Chandni arguing. Chandni exclaims to the Rowdy Professor that she did go to the Guest House and found his raaz. She intends to expose him. This is most exciting.
The episode was alright but it went too fast. Too much happened.

All in 20 minutes. This all happened in 20 minutes. Not that I hate it, but it is a lot to swallow. I guess I'm happy they didn't drag anything. But this worries me for the future. Look how long it took me to write everything to gather my thoughts. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the episode. I did enjoy it for the most part. Felt like I blinked I would have missed something.
