Advay - Destroyer or Protector?

I knew PP Baba's sweetness was too good to be true 😆 He's a stupid guy but it's his stupidity that enables his to get away with things. The guy wants a night in moonlight?!! Oh boy! And he disclosed this to the worst possible person!

Today's episode was a significant stepping stone in understanding Advay's feelings towards Chandni. Whether or not we can give this the name love, that's a separate debate. I'm just taking what I saw on face value and today viewers witnessed Advay Singh Raizada feel immense anger at PP's dirty thoughts. Correction: he was enraged!

And so we have it. A man ready to cause havoc and destruction in his childhood sweetheart's life is also her protector. Make no mistake of it - Advay will defend Chandni's honour and will not allow PP succeed in his filthy intentions. Now where does this protectiveness stem from? Their shared childhood? Love? or is it just Advay's nature? Or maybe it's everything combined? Jury's out for this one. But whatever happens in the future, whatever plans Advay has for Chandni - he will never cross the line of dishonouring her. Never.

Another significant dialogue was when Advay was thinking about PP's audacity in uttering Chandni's name. Yes, PP's intentions have rattled Advay Singh Raizada and this is only the beginning! I still feel Advay is in revenge mode and has not lost his way. He is on the path of revenge but at some point he will reach crossroads with one path leading straight to Chandni's heart. Which path he ultimately takes will be the beginning of Advay's fight with his inner demons.

I cannot make this post without mentioning the superb dialogues given to Advay and Chandni. We all know just how brilliant Advay's dialogues have been, but today Chandni had the upperhand with some very witty lines for her Ajeeb Singh Raizada 😆 And topped with Shivani's perfect expressions and Barun's smile - last scene of the episode left me cursing the weekend!

Side note: did anyone else feel that in the coffee shop scene, Barun was trying to conceal a smile when PP was talking about what girls want from him?! I swear he was! 😆 dirty mind PP's expressions were just 🤣

As a Dev he feel protective for her, but as Advay he is going to destroy her(not sure if he will able to do it or not)

Advay would have been enraged had PP spoken about Meghna or Shika in the same way too, because he is a good person at heart and a man of integrity. Even in revenge mode he has not lied to Chandni about his intentions towards her ever.

Advay, as any decent man does not believe such disgusting behaviour is acceptable towards any woman. And this is what he will tell himself too, that his anger is not personal for Chandni's honour, but I think we all know there is an element of that by the fact he was even angry that PP dared to take her name. I think he will tell himself that this is about punishing PP rather than protecting Chandni.

Off course He would have react same way if it was Shikha or Meghna in Chandni's place...But Chandni is off course have special place in his life...I agree with you both!😊

I agree that comments about Chandni made it more personal to him, but I don't think he will admit that or accept that as yet.

Even in revenge has not gone down the seducing Chandni route as a form of punishment, so I think he has his own moral principals even when taking revenge.
