To a new DOTW,
This week lets discuss the wild card entries.
Is it fair to have new contests join a reality show in the middle and still be able to win the game?
Why aren't the celebs who were part of this game being brought back as wild card entries???
What do you all think?
Enjoy,

well i think wild card entries appear to change teh flavour of teh show!!
though it is unfair .....but then wat is actually fair in such reality shows!!i think reality shows have a big "unfair" tag all along the show!!
if the eliminated contestants r back .,...even then it wud b unfair as he wud b having teh same undue advantage as teh new entries!
so i f u go by fair -unfair then i wil lsay wild card entries itself is an unfair twist!

I think its good that we got to see some new celebrities as wild card...whether its unfair i would say thats the name of the game and hence its not something that is not expected. Regarding bringing back old celebrities since they were at the bottom the likelyhood of them getting more votes is really not that drastic... so that would mean the top vote getters remain safe and the game will become boring , Bringing in new wildcards also bring in more drama in a different sense. The old don't really want them..don't know if the public will so that continues to make it fun to watch

Well...i dont think it is unfair because in all probabilities the contestants have been told that there will be new entrants.....so they know all these things will happen and then agree to the show....it is upto them to operate smartly and get the new entrants out as soon as possible if they can !!! 😊

@bold: That is absolutely correct. If we start judging everything that happens in these reality shows throgh the prism of fair-or-unfair, we will have something or the other showing up for judgment until eternity.

In any case, I think that variety is the spice of life... more so on the telly... So, the only thing fair to the viewers would be to do whatever it takes to uphold the entertainment value of the twist that is introduced (when the wild card entries are brought in).

I think in a jungle show, wild things are bound to happen 😛, adds to the fun and destabilizes the stronger 'strategy groups' within the camp, making the show more unpredictible. I think it's a great idea as long as they don't add contestants in the last week, that would be stretching the concept a bit too much...
