the first time i saw ishqbaaaz was the chip scene is annika's house, was just flipping through channels and that scene just captivated me with their chemistry. never knew nakuul and surbhi before. went online and binge watched the episodes i missed and have followed them for 2.7 years. cannot and will not follow another. shivika is ishqbaaaz.

proud to say have all 694 episodes of ib, 11 episodes of dbo with shivika (also happened to be the only episodes with rumya in them ) downloaded, and will just cut out the shivika moments in this redux like i did today for my video collection.

how fans could easily detach themselves from narbhi and accept this new product is beyond me. but to each his own.

People might like dinchaak as the makers will make it funny and light and airy fairy, pretty much like orignal ishbaaaz! But I don't think it will have the same craze and attachment shivika got!

Original IB didn't work cuz it was light and airy. It worked cuz the ensemble cast had chemistry together with Shivika standing out the most.

Dhinchak mein toh door door tak na kuch aisa hai, nor is there any attempt to even try to cast actors together with that kind of vibe and chemistry. It's just timepass and business as usual. Lol IB was a fluke i guess. This is the usual level of effort Gul makes but she unexpectedly got the casting down that well in IB. Now it's the usual forgettable stuff in Dhinchak. Lol

I don't see that happening with this new girl. Gul seems to think that she alone made SC. By taking a supposedly average looking girl and making her a Star. What she doesn't seem to get are the unique abilities SC had that made her stand out. New girl doesn't have those and sadly seems to be more of a cost cutting replacement for SC. No effort has been made to cast a girl with actual screen presence. This is a cost cutting version of IB fully now. Lol

When i was changing the channels i looked at omkara and his character somewhat resembled my favourite character of korean series ,so wanted to give the show a try,then my love at first sight happened at SC/Anika when i first time saw her itself in first Shivika car scene where this girl was so bubbly,lively,cute and gave a varied range of expressions within a single scene from feeling awkward to band bajoing billu ,and expression of being touched by SSO gesture of him helping her walking when knee got hurt & what not & i i was like " wow wow this girl is so amazing ,i have to watch her more & more"& decided to continue watching the show only for this girl and fallen in love with her forever ❤️

The uniqueness of the characters and the portrayal which was just very different from what we have seen commonly is what makes shivaay and Annika special. The screen presence that both NM and SC have is amazing! I think that this new ''chichora" NM wont work out and they will soon turn him into junior tadibaaz SSO very very soon.. I would have been a little open to the leap if it were different actors playing the children but the fact that they are having NM do this is something that I am not able to digest. I don't even want to see the episode and spoil what ishqbaaz was.. I don't even want to get started on the actress. She might be good but she has humongous shoes to fill and I doubt if she can. I hope this just shuts down asap!

Difference between Shivaay and Shivaansh-Both share the same initial SSO.Anyway Shivaay was a grey shaded character with beleifs of Naam/ Paisa and Power later on changed in love by Anika while his son Shivaansh looks to be a believer in love at first sight.Shivaay always doubted Anika at some point or the other while Shivaansh might just support his love Aditi.By the way Aditi has huge shoes to.fill.not only as the bahu but the lead sizzling chemistry of Shivika.Let's give this jodi a name say Advaansh or whatever but I doubt whether it can follow the footsteps of Shivika.Shivaansh seems to be a combo of his uncle Rudra/Rudy with his father Shivaay bcoz we know that Rudy was the flirty/immature among the three Oberoi Brothers.Shivaay was matured & had a ruthless business mind which Shivaansh does not have due to being a Bollywood Superstar as the intro.suggest.Shivaansh lacks his father's analytical thinking or who knows we might see glimpses of old Shivaay in him.

They say FIRST IMPRESSSIONS MAKE LASTING IMPRESSIONS. I am trying hard not to fall prey to my opening phrase. If anyone from the production house is catching fan response, please start with appearances first and then we will get to acting.

Just quickly went through the written update (no mood to watch). I must say it again...the leap is very very bad decision. My wishes for all those involved in leap to get a major flop
