What's happening?

Hey guys, I took a break from watching the show and everything was going normal and now coming back I am so confused about what is happening. Shiv and Anika are not together? And gauri is not with omkara? They don't remeber eachother or what? Can someone please fill me in?

Well I was in the same boat a few days ago and had a FF watch of all the epis and found that this is a new story with the same characters which is supposed to happen in a parallel universe. The original shivika are in the real universe. This story is to prove that soulmates will be bound to each other whatever be the circumstances or something along those lines. So don't get confused, it is a brand new story of shivika, there are many things to get confused about in this story as it is.

Oh okay that makes sense now . I was thinking how come they acting like strangers and not know each other. Thank you for clearing it up!
