I just loved the way how u didn't tell much, but did tell the most of it. The Kashmir backdrop is awesome. Loved it that annika likes reading. Do keep writing more. Update soon.

This is a brilliant start to your story. I remember, I have told you earlier as well how much I enjoy reading the details included by you. Another thing which I liked is the initial quote. Are you a Kashmiri? Because if you are not then I presume that you have researched a lot about it which deserves appreciation. In all, great start. I am not sure if I am right but somewhere I feel, the investigative officer is Shivaay. And if he is not, I sincerely hope her husband aka Shivaay if he is, did not betray her and the back story is something different.

Nope I'm not a Kashmiri I am a citizen of central north of india. UP preferably.

You'll get to know a bit more in the next one and there is a full fledged conversation between the protagonists in chapter 3 itself so I think it's gonna be a hell of a ride.

Not because I didn't want to but mainly because I did not have time, I used to get exhausted with all the stuff in the personal life and apart from that, I never really got the opportunity to look outside my own updates. Not that I am much free or anything of that sort, in fact life is more terrible at this point but as I have abandoned writing, I am investing that time in reading.
