One Shot || Jo Dard Dilon Ko Pyaara Hai ||
"Shivaay! Dehkiye wo mujhe dijiye..please!"
"Arey sab ko bhi dehkne do, Anika sharmati kaise hai!" teased Shivaay, running around the room with his phone in hand. The phone flashing a picture of Anika blushing that he had just captured cleverly.
"Shivaay, mujhe gussa aa raha hai...kyun tang kar rahe hain main...main chali jaaungi!"
He laughed looking at the photo.
She turned to leave the room, when his hands rested on either side of her waist pulling her backward vigorously. She let out an audible gasp, as he encircled his arms around her holding her tightly against his frame.
She could feel the heat of his anger radiate. Her breathing unsettled, as she felt his thudding heart's crazy beats. His face against her cheek, he spoke angrily, Don't ever say that again. She took in heavy breaths as she felt his hot breath fan her ear. Soon she closed her eyes as she felt his hold relax. His arm around her abdomen relaxed though not leaving her yet. Both their breathing was ragged. Memories of the past ran. The hearts still felt the pain they once had. Or perhaps the pain had never been erased completely, and never could. It still remained, in a faded shape locked up somewhere deep within the heart. For it was too dear for the heart to be forgotten.
He gently turned her to face him. His gaze still fierce. For all he feared now was losing her. He would die a torturous death if she ever left him again. "Don't Anika he warned, boring his burning gaze into hers.
She saw that fire again. The one, that had vowed to destroy her and turn her to ashes. The one which had left her with burns. The one she feared, and was still attracted to. Did his heart too hold the forgotten pain?
Did those memories still burn him sparingly like they did to her at odd hours of random days? Did those memories remind him how far they had come together?
She looked into his eyes, the blazing pain pricked her eyes. She wanted to soothe him right away, but she was like a moth attracted to flame. The fire wasn't on one side.
"Phir kyun sataate hai?"
His eyes flashed her a look, and she knew. They could burn in each other. They were addicted to the pain the other gave. And...there was no escape.
"Tum sataati ho! Khabardaar jo mujhse dhoor jaane ka socha bhi...warna.." He silenced himself, the muscles of his jaw clenched.
But she was as wild as him, "Warna kya Shivaay ..?" She asked slowly analysing his eyes. Before she knew he had twisted her wrists behind her back, yanking her dangerously close to himself. His hot rugged breath fanning her lips. His flaming eyes threatening to burn her. She fearlessly met his gaze, for she knew well to tame that wildness within him.
But she shuddered for a moment, finding herself weak against him. She tried moving her hands to distract him, he was accustomed to her ways like they were his very own. He held on tightly causing her to wriggle against him.
"warna.. " his voice echoed and soon cut short.
Her eyes showed her panic, her chest heaving for a second fear gripped her.Words he once said looping in her head. Their eyes were locked.
(Warna tum jaanti nahi ho main kya kya kar sakta hoon)
She was terrible mess and he was chaos!
That did it, her fear did it. He sighed deeply, immediately loosening her old on her. What the hell had got into him? He glanced back at her. She did it! If she brought out his best, she also triggered his worst. His everything was for her, to her and by her! He was a puppet in her hand. Just like she was in his. He left her free, scared of himself. He slammed his eyes shut regretting his sudden outburst. What if he had gone out do worse?
He breathed hard, each breath like a piercing arrow to his heart!
He ran his hand in his hair, slowly raising his gaze up to hers. She stood their silent, staring at him with eyes that glistened with something-perhaps pain!
He turned away wanting to kill himself. He started walking away, he need some place in his private hell. At times he din't trust himself with her.
Angry at himself he walked away. He stopped. He was stopped by her hand. Blinking his eyes that had moisture he turned around. She flung her arms around him, pulling him closer.
"You can't leave as well! " She whispered as tears blurred her vision.
In her embrace the world stopped still. He slammed his eyes shut just staying in her old that way. His eyes dimmed he closed his eyes.
She slowly took his arms and placed it around her. All she wanted in the moment was to be hugged back. Tears stained his face, and his hold got tighter, crushing her protectively into himself. She kissed his neck, smiling. He wasn't the same- the one who had broken her. He was the one who protected her- for that matter- even from himself.
His arms like shields protected her and his palms gently caressed her, pouring in the unspoken affection.
"Sorry, I went too far! " he sighed kissing her hair. He had taken her down the terribly painful memory lane, reminding her of who he had once been, of the pain he had inflicted on her heart like a terrible beast. He pulled closer crying with her, in their entangled hold.
"Don't be! " she kissed his lips hugging him once again. She needed to be reminded of her knight of her prince who had emerged out from a beast. The prince who was delicate as baby in his gestures and the knight who would protect her from the most terrible of demons- be it himself!
The pain dear to their hearts had always stayed!

Don't know what got into me had to write it out! Hope I can now study in peace after writing this out!
