The war continues, despite the aftermath. Shivaay ponders by the pool, over his stupid decision to propose marriage to Ragini just to provoke Annika. Thank goodness his brain still works after some calm. Annika affects him too much, problems with her just push him to unreasonable extents.
But he seems stuck , in this zone between reaching out and pulling away. He clearly wants her back, but doesn't want to admit his vulnerability. "You want me to crawl, and say please come back to me", were HIS own words, not hers. She was quite happy with him saying "I can't bear the thought of you marrying anyone else..."
He was quite the insensitive friend, when he broke Ragini's selfish heart in a cruel manner. Yes, she's a selfish overconfident brat, but she had a crush on him and made her move. But he just unleashed her psycho with his callous insensitivity. Proposing engagement then taking it back, now proposing marriage and calling it a joke. On top of that, asking her to pretend she's marrying him, so he can play this game with his ex wife.
Well she's started to go a little crazy now, and that's not a good sign.
The family sees Shivaay going a little too far with his silly war with Annika. Going as far as pushing her into marriage with Vikram, when it is plain and simple he loves her madly. Shakti and Dadi are included in the facepalming today, but they are not asking questions elders SHOULD be asking him. Help these childish idiots find their way back to each other!!
Pinky as always is the fool who acts like the court jester. Joking and so happy, oblivious to the gloom behind all the flowery deco. No one is happy but her.
Gauri for the first time looked a little worried if their plans to stop this will work, but she places her faith in God that all would end well. Om marched straight to Shivaay's room to talk him into some sense.
"So you, who can't figure out your own issues, wants to lecture me on marriage?" he taunts back.
Om rears back, it's true, he and Gauri haven't figure each other out yet, but it was not equal to Shivaay and Annika's problems. Love is apparent there, blatantly obvious for all to see, but both are denying and going down separate paths to spite each other.
"Stop it Shivaay! Don't push her so far away, that she won't come back ever. You won't be able to live without her. Stop this madness."
"I agree. I don't want to lose her..."
Baby step no.1
"But I need to know what broke us apart in the first place. And she WON'T TELL !! So I'm not gonna back off this time..."
Om challenges him. Shivaay taunts him to tell. I realized the torture is for everyone, to watch if they can all bear to see this happen to Annika, whom they are all protecting so dearly.
Om pointed out the impenetrable wall that Annika is about this. It's all up to Shivaay now. Can he stand by and watch the love of his life destroy herself because he was forcing her down this path??
Annika looks beautiful and determined. She trusting him to come through and stop her this time before it's too late. She left the last time without a fight. This time she's going to stay til the bitter end, where either bliss or burned ashes of a failed relationship await her. She's trusting his love for her now, that battle he told her about in the jungle sometime ago.
"You are Annika, I am a tree. I don't know how to bow down to anything. But I will try. It won't be easy, but we'll do it. "
Each step down the stairs, you could see how tired they were of this fight. Each one calls out to the other without words.
"You look very nice. You look ready for mehendi rituals..."
I don't get how this guy expects Annika to understand that he hasn't really moved on! He keeps throwing Ragini in her face, and she's already extremely insecure about his feelings for her. As strong and calmly as his committment seemed for her in their happy times, his rage and rejection is as powerful. He thinks she should be very confident of his feelings for her, but he has no idea of the snakes that slither around him and how they attack Annika.
He lifts his hand for her to lead the way first and she leaves, and his resolve looks weaker and weaker by the moment. Watching her sit and people fussing over mehendi and groom names added the pain, as he remembers asking her to please put his name on her hand before.
*Flashback* She woke up SO happy that day, Lady Kumbhkaran woke up earlier than him and was preparing for her mehendi. She was glowing with smiles, that he couldn't resist teasing her.
"So Who's the unlucky fellow who's marrying you huh?"
"Oh hello! WHoever marries me, will get luck in spades! Don't tease me, or I won't put your name on my hand."
"Don't put it then, You'll still be my wife...No one can bear with you but me..."
Later he asks her to put his name anyway, since the occasion was for her as his wife. ***
Who wants to bet that somehow it'll be Shivaay's name on her hand tomorrow ?😉
Gauri was feeling her rakhi brother's pain, and was praying God had better plans since hers was not working. Despite that she managed to buy a little time for Shivaay to come to terms and stop this. How awesome was that faceoff with Ragini, I love Gauri's sass. !!
Shivaay doesn't realize how much the family is rallying for him to fight for his love. Everyone is hiding behind corners and tripping vamps buying him time to get on with it !! Annika realized this and went to tell Gauri there's no point. There it became apparent that Annika is staying put because she is trusting him to come through for her.
Ragini begins to go a little nuts, booking honeymoon suites in Greece when she knows Shivaay isn't going to even sit at the mandap with her. Seriously Deluded.
But electricity jolted in his brain when he saw what she was doing. Immediately he wants to call off the bluff. That last look of horror is what I'm really eager to see today !! Will he realize the ring fiasco was all Ragini's doing? And he had gone and trusted her instead of Annika? Yet again.
But then, what makes Annika continue with the farce? This worries me...
Pinky saw Gauri face off with Ragini. Annika has a whole team behind here, I'm pretty sure Pinky will be up to something...
Please for God's sakes, stop dragging this. I'm seriously getting tired of the suspense over weeks now. Either Pinky or Ragini needs to be fried. Big time. Deep fried. No more pining away at wife leaving please !!
Something is fishy about this Sultan guy. Is he another fake stand in? And what are Bhavya and Rudra doing playing comedy in his bedroom?? goodness...
