I'll just post, what I posted on the other thread:

Shivaay might have said this out of sentiment.

As if Gauri would want that. She would rather leave (already left once) than have her right by force. Thats the essence of her character, in the first episode itself there is a reference to Meera, and she has said also umpteen times that yeh rishta nibha ne ke liye woh akeli kaafi hai. She would never impose herself on Om. DBO was based on this premise.

Its not about dandi bhaiyya or shivaay. Its just about the scene looking forceful or making someone else hero in this story too 😆 but omru have always helped shivika so guess its shivaay's turn to sort his bro's problems out.

And i agree with Ananya. As if gauri would impose on Om like that. She will only accept Om when Om gives it dil se. There is so much to show. I hope they dont rush it. I guess that's what fans are fearing. That this also will be rushed. It should be a slow process of realization, confusion confession.
