Lazy writing and a disregard for the all the characters in general is what's going on right here 😆
Real Shivaay believes SR comes after marriage not before. Remembers every detail of his day even when he is drunk so there would be no question whether the baby is his or not. He may be conservative, but it doesn't put his views on his brothers. However, he would have been pissed his brothers may have done something so careless and investigated the situation, which includes doing a DNA test and finding the mother. The writers only make him dumb when its about him, but he wouldn't blindly accept the situation if its related to his brothers. Other than that he needs to know everything about everything.
Real Om who have behaved rationally and found out if it was really his child by contacting his ex-girlfriend. He would have had the decency to talk to Gauri about the situation since her mother is living with them right now. We all know how much respect he has for Jhanvi so he wouldn't disrespect her mother like that even though they aren't in a relationship right now.
Real Rudra wouldn't let his Daadi look like fool by telling her a baby is a doll. He may be childish at times and wouldn't know how to handle the situation, but he was always respectful to Daadi.
Inconsistencies galore:
The writers forget Shivaay was in relationship with Tia at the time and turned into stone every time she touched him, but we're supposed to believe he had another woman on the side or a ONS now. Then Shivaay knew it wasn't his baby, but in front the family he wasn't sure anymore included himself lol. So, the writers either have short-memory loss or they are trying to make him seem heroic by taking the blame along with his brothers ...you know the one for all, all for one overdose the writers have been peddling in the show since merge. Brothers are sharing everything because that's the real definition of brotherhood 😆
Shivaay knows it can't be Tia, but Om and Rudra not bothering to contact their ex-girlfriends to see what's going on.
No police report because the baby is the new family pet. Wonder why no IPC dialogues pertaining to kidnapping from Madam ACP? Ahhh...that's right the fact she is a cop is only used as a joke or when she flying in the air doing stunts. No DNA test to find out if the baby is related to any of them because the note must be true. No mature conversation with Daadi out of respect for her age and position in the family. No one in the entire house except Gauri is shown thinking about the repercussions of the situation.
To answer your question the ladies would have shown the door along with the cute baby 😆 The baby doesn't even have to be theirs all hell would break lose over an assumption lol. Sadly, the female writers are only interested in showing the ML as hypocritical MCPs and have no interest in portraying the FLs like normal human beings with feelings and thoughts about something other than the men in their lives. No life, no backbone, and mahaan for no reason the FLs have become an afterthought in their own shows. All the characters male or female, logic, and the story are sacrificed for TRPs.
I hate Pinky and Tej, but I actually liked their reactions to the situation. Pinky stood up for her son unlike the time she believed everything Tia said in the past while Tej was behaving like a father questioning them for their actions when he didn't care about his sons before. That shows growth in their characters, which is rare on the show these days lol.
All the characters are giant hypocrites with no shame thanks to the writers and TRPs 😆
