Sanya...I was sure Shivvay would overhear and know that she still loves him... but I guess not yet. I loved Sid's reaction...it was natural, and much overdue fro Shivvay...for there was never anyone from Annika's side that he had to answer to..now finally some reconciliation for all that pain that she endured alone. Loving the progress of the story.can't wait to read more!😛

Ok. First of all, I have started loving this Sid. Such a straight forward character. No crests, no troughs until u bump yourself at him. He knows Annika inside out. Thats very sweet. His concern for Annika that he knows she will not get back to Shivaay, yet he is worried that she would as she still loves him, and hence very protective of her because he doesnt want herself to get hurt again by the same man, now that he is in front of him/her , whom he hates because he hurt his friend once upon a time, which she did not deserve. I say, every girl needs one such protective friend in her life. More than love and husband and family, a friend's strength always weighs and values uniquely.

One thing I don't understand about Annika in this chapter - why does she need Shivaay's testimony to make Sid believe her? Sid knows Annika. Annika knows Sid. Yes, she hid an important information from him. She knows how will react to that info. In the similar manner, if Sid knows Annika, he will definitely understand that if Annika wants to get back to Shivaay, she will not do behind his back. He just needs some time to cool down his disappointment and anger, if I am not wrong. To be frank, I'm not happy with Annika bringing Shivaay for testimony. Its as if - chori ke liye khud chor gawaahi de!

But Shivaay's pain is unbearable as well..

And the fact that he wants to be a part of Annika's life any how, even as a friend is so very touching

Of course Sid knows Annika enough to understand her that she won't get back with Shivaay behind his back but because this information was kept secret from him for such a long time, he misunderstood.

What was the secret: Annika's ex is back. What he misunderstood: Annika is back with her ex.

That's because, he doesn't understand that why Annika lied to him. She could have told him about Shivaay before and even though he would have gotten angry, she should have told him. Why did she lie? So, the only thing that is worth keeping hidden is that she is back with him.MU.

And about Annika asking Shivaay to clear things.

As she knows that Sid is upset with her, because she lied, so he won't listen to her at the moment. That is why Annika did that.

And also, Shivaay needs to see how important Siddharth is for her, for future purposes. He must know what importance Siddharth holds in Annika's life, even if he is not her boyfriend or father of her kids. He needs to be aware that a person like Siddharth is with her and that he is not a threat or a competition but rather a shield for her. That is why I made Annika do that😆

I am not saying that your opinion is wrong or anything but just explaining why I wrote what I wrote😆
