So star plus recently started running the wonderful ad about daughters featuring Aamir khan to propagate their "Nayi Soch' buzz phrase.

My question is how does the same channel allow even for the sake of drama, a victim to publicly touch the feet of her stalker for the sake of the marriage of her sister in law..and the whole family just stood there just because the girl expressed her wish to marry the boy. I heard ' ladkiwaale ' term thrown in as if being one snatches all sense of dignity or righteousness from the prospective bride's family. And this show is produced by a woman. And mind you Oberoi s are an educated family based at Mumbai. But this program reaches audiences of all demographic and to some content like these in prime time shows might validate the regressive message that the girl's family should stoop to any level to appease the unrealistic demands of the groom's family because otherwise the girl will remain unmarried... Roka/marriage are more important than self-respect/dignity?

I'm sorry if I offend anyone but I just couldn't keep quiet after watching today's episode.

This is a pattern in all 4 Lions' shows...they make the sisters pathetically weak so that the female leads can be shown to sacrifice their dignity for a "just" cause...in ipk khushi brought back the man who leered at,cheated,made innapropriate advances towards her because anjali was the way she was(I swear she acted as if she was dying during her pregnancy,pathetic excuse of a woman,my blood still boils when I think of her).

In qubool hai asad forced zoya to be ayan's wife so that his ridiculously weak half sister could be the DIL of a woman who always ridiculed her because she was dark...his sister actually tried commiting suicide because the marriage was about to break...like why do you even want to be the DIL of a woman so nasty?!

And then we have ishqbaaaz...

You just put what I was thinking in words. I really don't understand why she dose that and why she always show the sisters so weak i mean she has such upportonety to show women strong and change the picture of women as the weak one to a strong women

Actually Gul mata Real life mein Kya kya bhashan na sunaya women empowerment ko leke Ishqbaaaz show ... Par Khud ke hi show mein she is treating a Girl like a THRASH

Cvs are recycling Haseena-Nikhat nonsense where the girl's family has to bear all the nonsense by the boy's family. What next? Never ending dahez demands? I hope it don't run for 200-300 episodes.
