hi
so i just watched both DBO & ishqbaaz episodes online and i just got confused again by the storyline
in ishqbaaz the ceremony is still on and swetlana just caught romi
while in DBO swetlana was busy making new rules about being an oberoi bahu😡😡
i know...this inconsistency was bound to happen and i prepared my self for that (like i was ok with shivaye being in 2 places in the same time😆😆😆 because i thought it might have slipped but watching today's episode it felt like this confusion is here to stay😲😲)
so what should i do?
should i just watch one show and forget the other??
i mean basically i am watching booth for obros moment...buti got so distracted by the confusion that i didn't enjoy neither of the episodes😭😭😭
what should i do?

Don't think about consistency, yaar

Writers give zero faraqs about it. Treat the two shows as separate works.

This is why I also said ke kal ka NKK dialogue doesn't hold any significance in the current IB world.

Just wrote this somewhere so copy pasting:

Saw today's DBO episode...The 2 shows going their respective leads story! No continuity or sync watsoever and until its all merged, we should actually stop finding logic or linking I feel and also, today's episode relieved me more about yesterday's scene, and now I feel more and more that it was random, so out of place and not to be taken seriously 😆

I feel the makers will start tying both the shows together. I think these are teething problems since DBO is new and they have never done a spin off of a show before in India so maybe they are also a bit confused how to tie the two together. Also I think all this while since they were shooting on different sets the writers also may not have been in communication with each other.
I think once both stories will shift to Oberoi mansion it will have more continuity as the actors will be wearing the same costumes and the shows will be shot together at the same location.
I think we will have to give the team some more time to get their stories more in sync with each other.
In addition I think in the editing also being in the same location should help iron out inconsistencies.

for now separate track in running in both serial. so watch both and enjoy it like a separate serial.
makers need time to adjust the story and timing as they are in experimenting mode. so we should give them

Agree about it, the stories of the shows are completely different. The incidents that happen in IB has no link with DBO and what happens in DBO has no links with IB. Yesterday Shivaay's dialogue in DBO has no connection with IB whatsoever.
