Since it had so much of the Mother Vamp, I thought it was Howlarious! What IS she upto? I spent the time half howling in laughter and the other half howling in terror, because I was afraid that if she opened her eyes any wider, we would have the first public showing of human eyeballs popping out of their sockets and rolling on the floor! 😆 No, really! Didn't it look like that to everyone else?

But clearly things are coming to a head in the strange affairs of the Oberoi Mansion now. So it is now public knowledge that Shivaay never signed the divorce papers that he forced upon Anika a long time ago. I thought that was a pretty nice touch -- no-one wants Shivaay to go to jail for bigamy, it appears. 😆

So, has Devi Romi been accepted as Shivaay's side-kick? She gasped out helpful (and TOTALLY OBSCURE, IMHO) hints to Anika to connect the dots between Dushyant and Robin! Anika is a genius -- she totally got that Robin is not the brother AND is also Dushyant in those gasping words. Well, either that she is a genius or she was enlightened by Romi Devi who projected the entire script into Anika's head! 😆

It was LOVELY to see Rudra and Om back at home! That one line of Rudra's -- Don't do it bhaiyya -- made me feel happy that the brothers are back. No matter how much Ishqbaazi-ness we get with the love angles, these three are the charm in the show.

And Jhanvi!!! She is back and not a scar to show! Her lovely hair is still in place! Did they just have Anika weep her magic tears continuously for days over her to make sure that not a hair on Jhavi's head has gone missing in her attempt to fry herself?

Creep Tej is STILL in the house??!!! Wasn't he promising to go far away and set up home elsewhere? The shamelessness of the guy! At least, he didn't have anything to say for himself.

I think this is the first time that I have seen Shivaay go over the top, no? Anyone who was watching that bit would have been INSTANTLY suspicious! First, Shivaay shouting like that (let's forget for a moment that it was at Anika). Shivaay would never shout like _that_! Even when he was trashing Anika in earlier episodes (when he fired her for having Priyanka's suitor come inside the house despite his having forbade it), he wasn't this loud, was he? And all those dramatic hand gestures! 😆 It was just so theatrical that I totally knew something was up.

And to top that, the brothers were standing stone still. Or was Om just in shock that Shivaay had tossed his phone into the marriage pyre??! 🤣

So it was not so much of a surprise to see Anika's loud sobs still into a grin. AND for her to get the dangerous Shivaay music. AND for him to have a shade of a grin appear and just as quickly disappear from his face. Something IS up!

But the BESTEST part of the episode HAD to be when Anika called up Khanna on the phone! Khanna is in the something that's up! Oh be still my racing heart! Khanna!!!!!

So this episode felt more than the pause before the hurricane hits. I guess we get told what's up tomorrow?

But today I had two peeves with the episode.

First, Shivaay is back in velvet and making me sympathy-sweat with him. Ugh. Why? Why velvet in Bombay? Why??! 👎🏼

Second, the world thinks that Shivaay is married to Tia anyway. Then why are there are sea of bodies standing around for this blooming wedding ceremony??! I don't understand why there cannot be a wedding in one of these ridiculous shows where the family -- and ONLY the family! -- can't just be as lavish in dress and dance and decoration as possible without needing to have strangers hang around. It's just ... intellectually offensive!

Well, yes, yes! There is _little_ that is NOT intellectually offensive about how these stories are told, I know! But for some reason today the crowd in the scenes just got my goat. I guess it's difficult to keep your cool when you are sympathy sweating with Shivaay. 😆
