I don't know if I liked the episode or not.. because every time I tried to think of it, I could only visualize the "thing" that Anika was wearing! WHAT ON EARTH WAS IT? Does it have a name? Shivaani - Please don't insult everyone's intelligence by called it "fashion". Because it wasn't. It looked like a old piece of cloth had been run through a damaged paper shredder. That cannot be normal. That is not normal.
Pssshhhwww! Now that I have that out of the way, let me try and gather my thoughts on he other aspects of the show
Totally loved the fact that they continued from where they left off last week. Ardent followers of IB (like us) do not expect continuity in scenes and appreciate it when it is shown.
I thought that Shivaay's end goal was to have Anika acknowledge that he affects her. And she did... she was so lost in him that she accepted that he affects her. Yet, this insufferable man pulled away. Why oh why? I had hoped that it will be Anika who pulls a fast one on him the minute she realizes that she had acknowledged his affect on her. Yet again Shivaay scored. But it was an enjoyable scene. It was nice to see the small cracks in Anika's will, determination to see this through, but loved how she tried to cover it up. In all, a good scene.
Shivaay likes everything thakkar ka. So it is good to finally see a baddie give him thakkar. Also mainly because he had just left Anika feeling like crap, I was happy that Mrs. Kapoor brought down his enthusiasm a little bit. But here is the thing. He is Shivaay Singh Oberoi. You warn him that you are on to him, he will do something cleverer the next time around. So, this warning will come to bite Mrs. Kapoor you know where. But I liked the thakkar. Also, point to note, unlike the Oberoi Mansion, the CCTV cameras in the Kapoor residence seems to be working completrely fine... He should check what brand of cameras they have.
Loved their flower-exchange. Shivaay's dialogue "Tumhare haat se sab phisal raha hai Anika. Samhalo, warna sab bhikar jaayega" had me going ga ga for some reason! The clothes (if that is what you can call them) that she was wearing made it very difficult to pay attention to the dialogues. Maybe I was just excited that I managed to hear what he was saying despite the atrocious eye hurting outfit. I had to force myself to squint my eyes to blur everything else out and only see their faces.. that made the scene more likable. Shivaay knows the impact he has on her, and he was enjoying every bit of it. All he wanted her to say was that it matters, but she wouldn't give that to him. I kind of enjoyed the fact that he actually used the "moves" he tried with Anika on Tia today. I wish she does all of it to him sometime soon to erase this terrible memory!
I was kind of confused by Anika's response to daadi. Knowing daadi's rant, I would kind of say anything to annoy the old lady a bit. She can get on my nerves at times. But Anika is not like me. So, why would she say all those things? I actually don't beleieve that she truly has lost her memory. She knows that people are constantly watching them, and I think she is just maintaining her game. She has come this close, she does not want to lose now.
The TejLana conversation gets a special mention. "Kuch Seekho Apne Bete Om se" had me literally whisteling in the house... Gosh, how I have waited for someone to say that to Tej. It was sweet revenge to have Svetlana saying it. Although, I hope Tej will have a good comeback for her when she realizes Om actually married someone else...
So Romi is now on the fence, but will soon jump to the good side. I am a bit conflicted about how I feel about her. When she was troubling Rudy earlier, I had hoped that we will see a day when she is gotten rid off permanently. But now that it is all set to happen, I feel bad, particularly because of what it can mean to Saumya. But I do hope she gets some revenge against the Kapoor's before she dies (if that is happening at all which I am inclined to believe now).
Prinku has gone nuts.. maybe because she has not been able to see the ACP for a bit, I dont know what this girl's issue is. She expected Anika to celebrate the occasion? Like how? Maybe she just wanted to cheer the "single girl's club". But give Anika a break at-least for some time Prinku!
Even after all the smartness of SSO, I hardly doubt he will be able to delete the video. It sounded very much like Romi was talking to him about the same video in the precap. So, the video may not be on Mrs. Kapoor's phone afterall. Let us see what Romi does to earn Shivaay's trust!
I don't have a positive or negative feeling about today's episode. Content wise, it may have been decent.. but her clothes spoilt it all for me! Maybe a 5/10
