Raj: He welcomes him on the show.
Kunal: He says he's humbled to be in the interview. He also says hi to everyone listening.
Raj: How are you juggling the two shows?
Kunal: He says he's shooting for 16-17 hours a day until things settle down. Its tough but exciting because he's doing the thing he loves.
Raj: DBO's focus will be on your character and Leenesh's character. Does this pressure you?
Kunal: There's no pressure. He says the character's popularity made the channel create a spinoff and its more exciting and motivating.
Raj: How is the shooting for the two shows. Will they be different stories?
Kunal: No, they will merge with each other.
Raj: He asks about Om's love angle.
Kunal: Omkara finally has a girl. She is a small town girl. They bump into each other when he's out of town. There will be lots of drama and tashan.
Raj: He asks about his bond with Shrenu.
Kunal: Shrenu is a delight. She is a sweet human being and fun to be around.
Raj: Why are you not active on Twitter?
Kunal: Im not too much into social media. Im not such a phone fan. He says he's mostly active in Instagram because hes a fan of photography.
Raj: Are you an Ishqbaaz in real life?
Kunal: Yes. He says Ishqbaaz isn't just for a girl but parents/ friends/ pets.
Raj: Are you more excited about your love story/ character transformation in DBO?
Kunal: Both. Im actually more excited about being a part of Indian Television history.
Raj: He asks about his changing looks in DBO (specifically the hair)
Kunal: He says he ties a pony to give his character some edge.
Raj: Do you have hobbies like art in real life?
Kunal: No, I might cut my hand if I sculpt. But he considers acting as an art.
Raj: Do you like saying poetry in real life?
Kunal: He says he has a tough time remembering Shayari. He tells Leenesh to get out of the makeup room so he can learn them.
Raj: Which Om do you relate to more?
Kunal: Both are close to him. He's happy to play different shades.
Raj: Are you in touch with the buddy project team.
Kunal: Yes. Last night I was with them.
Raj: What will be your reaction if you were paired with Deepika Padukoune in a film?
Kunal: I will faint because I love her.
Raj: Is there anything you (Kunal) needs to do before acting as Om?
Kunal: He says he currently has to act more harsher due to his present character change.
Raj: Favourite brothers scene?
Kunal: The kitchen scenes because they are fun. And the scene were Omkara has many pills and faints in the pool.
Raj: Are real phones thrown in Ishqbaaz?
Kunal: Dummy phones are used.
Raj: Which Omkara does he love and find more challenging.
Kunal: I love both Omkaras and I find them both challenging. He says hes more like Rudy in real life.
Raj: Have you encountered crazy fan moments?
Kunal: Yes. When I went to a mall in Mumbai, I went to a food court and he had to leave because there were big crowds for him. The mall also told Kunal they'll have security for him next time he comes.
Raj: Do you plan to come London soon because even Nakuul was here recently?
Kunal: Yes, its on my primary bucket list. I have friends there telling me to come. When I get time, I'll plan on coming there. (I'm a very happy fan atm because Kunal answered my question 😃😳)
Raj: Whose the prankster on the set - you, Nakuul or Leenesh?
Kunal: Nakkul. He pulls mine and Leenesh's leg because we're younger. Our chemistry off screen is really good. Leenesh and I look up to Nakuul as an elder brother.
Raj: Would you rather loose your phone or id card?
Kunal: ID card. Its easier to get back again. He also says that although he doesn't like being on his phone all the time, he likes to have the best phone in the market.
Raj: If Om had to choose between his brothers or his girl, who would he choose?
Kunal: Brothers. (AWW so cute ❤️.)
Raj: Favourite moment/ scene?
Kunal: My entry scene. He says Lalit (the director) said it was one of the best entries he's shot.
Raj: Would you rather be invisible or read people's minds?
Kunal: Read people's minds.
Raj: What did you have to do in your transformation from Ranveer to Omkara?
Kunal: Control my energy because Ranveer's character was very energetic whilst Omkara's character is calm and composed.
Raj: A fan noticed you smile more in photos with female fans than male fans. Why is that?
Kunal: He says that the female fans tell him to smile and if he doesn't smile, they come back to him asking him to smile.
Raj: A fan has been messaging me sending lots of love and wishes.
Kunal: Thank you so much.
Raj: Can you give a teaser for DBO?
Kunal: There's a new Om. There will also be one girl that comes and ruins everything for Om and she will be an example of a modern and strong woman. Also Rudra will come some episodes later and rock the screens.
Raj: Any plans for valentines day?
Kunal: No. I don't really celebrate valentines day and believe in loving someone for a day. Every time im with my loved ones is valentines day for me. But he also says he has nothing against that day and he wishes everyone celebrating a happy valentines day.
Raj: Final message for fans?
Kunal: Thank you for loving and watching the show and for also supporting us. He tells us to watch DBO to make it a success like Ishqbaaz and also show people that spin off shows can work well. Also I love you all.
