Hello people,

so most of you seems excited about DBO, the first spin off in indian TV ever.

I am too...but with my little apprehensions..!

I love shivika...NaRbhi are brilliant.

I liked OmRu...and so was looking forward to DBO...

But just saw some DBO launch videos, and was very irritated, in not finding lee and neha in it.

For past week, have been seeing new DBO promos, and there is no RuMya in any of them, its just Om and Gauri.

Was just wondering, why are the makers repeating the history of IB where, the initial promos clearly said "Ek Kahani Ke Teen Hisse" for the oberoi brothers.

I love all three of them...and as much I love om, I also find RuMya's story a tad bit different and refreshing on its own (specially for Gul's serials).

Just wanted to know, how people are reacting here about it? Am I just over-reacting or we can expext some decency from guls' side this time?

In print they promoted LeeHa as leads even at the launch Kunal said it's not only about Om but Ru too

LeeHa should have been on the launch

I agree they should have been at the launch. I dont know why they were not. I guess coz main focus will be on the story of Om in a different city etc. But even still, I think Leenesh and Neha should have been there too.

Just like IB was promoted as "Yeh saath hai to baath hai" and 3 parts of the same story etc, and then they stuffed it up, I hope history does not repeat here too.

I like Om, and liked his different character. But they made him bitter and changed him into a guy similar to their "usual" heroes. (which is a bit disappointing even though I understand the reasons for his change). My original interest in the Omkara and Rudra stories were their point of difference from the usual Gul stories. Now Om will be reduced to a Gul hero level and only Rudra is still saved from the same old cliche.

Therefore, I hope they do show him and his love story properly too. It's the least they can do after the way they never delivered on the Brothers stories in IB. Let's hope they keep their "word" this time.

I agree they have really irritated is by not showing Rumya at all, but I have a feeling that they are hiding Saumya (probably she is grey as per spoilers) but now after launch, it's getting pretty sure that Rumya wouldn't be as important as RiKara

I hope they give good story n SS to Rumya as theirs seems to be the only story which has done freshness and isn't a recycled one

All d stories in IB n DBO will b recycled ones.Only benefit of seeing IB n DBO r all d character r played by awesome actors. amazing characterisation but no story.

More than rikara and rumya I want omru bromance. Please cv this time don't disappoint. You have always gave misleading promo. If this time promo about romance I hope to get bromance in episode. Even 5 min enough. Give my thirsty soul omru dose

They r already recycling many things.

Tej-Svetty marriage- Gaffur-Tanveer marriage

Gauri-Kali marriage with runaway bride- Zoya-Akram marriage with runaway bride

Rustic Gauri- Rustic Sanam and Khushi

I hope Om is not another Aahil or ASR but a normal human being.

Dekh lena cvs will give either Sasural Saumya Ka or Sasural Gauri Ka after 2 months😆.

I don't even want 20 mts of RumYa but have a proper STORY , Proper flow in the story continuity , If you have promoted Rudra as a lead and Saumya as his foil u would have some story in mind

Ek episode mein 5 mt bhi kaafi hai but flow tu ho

I think Saumya will turn grey and maybe that's why they are keep her under wraps as of now... agar sab kuch promos mein dikhaya toh suspense kaise create karegi ?? logic 😆
