I never post much about Om because he is still so undeveloped.
If Shivvay's many 'Avataar's' intrigue me then Om's many 'Shape Shifting' personalities mystify me.
That man is something on the surface and another thing deep within his core.
Shivvay is the same man outside as he is inside and is not difficult to read - it is just difficult to keep up with his ever changing Avaatar's. He shows what he is - ruthless and dark. You know where you stand with him . He is the kind of enemy I would choose to fight.

Om on the other hand keeps changing according to the situation he has to deal with at home. He adapts ... he molds himself, he does not let on what is under the surface by covering it up with his easy going and calm personality. Even Shivvay, I am sure, is not aware of what Om is capable of. Om is the enigma that is like fighting a ghost... a spirit ... a shape-shifter. How does one fight those???!!!

Take Prinku's incident for example - he hid it for 2 years... 2 years !!!! that is a very long time to hide something that huge from a brother who supposedly knows all about you. Shivvay mistakes Om for a open book but he is anything but that.

Shivvay can give his life for 'his own' - Om can take a life for 'his own'
Therein lies the difference between the two brothers

Omkara and Rudra are the most developed characters in Ishqbaaz thats why audience could connect to them even with few scenes of them and even without proper story. Shivaay, Omkara and Rudra all are flawed characters

In reality we do always have control over our emotions we can't let out our emotions for unwanted reasons. We change ourselves according to the situations. Omkara in general is a calm person but he looses his temper when someone speaks bad about his brothers or hurt his brothers. It's not that calm persons should always be silent even they would get angry for sensible reasons and that is how Om is. Whenever someone hurts his family or speaks bad about his brothers he looses his temper and shouts at them and again becomes emotional.

Omkara is not open book and Shivaay and Jhanvi very well knows it and even they discussed it in one episode. Shivaay has always asked Om to open up and share his problems/pain with others instead of keeping it to himself.

There was an episode where Shivaay even asked Om what happened two years back but Om as usual was silent and Shivaay immediately said that his room is always open for him and whenever he feels like sharing he can share it with him (because Shivaay understands Omkara and he very well knows he keeps everything to himself)

Bold: Disagree on that.

Shivaay hurts and can kill people for the happiness of his family and business and there are so many instances in the show. He hurt Anika so many times. When Rudra was shot It was Omkara who ran towards Rudra but Shivay went towards Gayathri because of his anger and When Omkara was overdosed, Shivaay instead of taking care of Omkara he went to harm Anika thinking she was the reason for his brother's condition.

On the other hand Omkara is a emotionally weak person he gets emotional for even small things and he can't hurt anyone intentionally. Even when Shivaay fired Anika it was Omkara who went and apologized to her on behalf of his brother. The family too is little more concerned towards Omkara because they very well know that he gets emotional for small things and can breakdown anytime.
Omkara Once said to Shivaay and Rudra that he cant hurt anyone and sleep peacefully like the other two do and thats the reason for his drug addiction. His guilt(Prinku's accident case) made him a drug addict and family misunderstood it.

Omkara is a person who would hurt himself and give himself pain to protect his family and for the happiness of his brothers/Family.
All the three brothers would act as shield for their family 😊
