So people,
I've been a silent reader of this forum. But now i just don't think I'm going to be watching Ishqbaaz anymore. The very reason I started watching it was the different premise of the show. But it's nothing more than any typical daily soap. I just don't see it as a tale of 3 brothers anymore. It's a repeat tale of a rich man and his middle class love interest. There is no space for OmRu and their counterparts. Hell, Om dosen't even have a lady and Rudra and Somya are as good as background storys. They have even started showing just Annika on the show's banner. Some people might say I'm being impatient and not waiting for the story to unfold and that Omru will get their focus as well but frankly i just don't see that happening. I had high hopes from IB but sadly it turned out to be just any basic show.

I am an overseas viewer, so I didnt know that they are showing just Annika on the show banner. I watch it on Hotstar and lately have not even watched. So from 3 male leads to ONE female lead? What a transition in 6 months!

You are right, this is yet another old cliche of rich man and middle-class girl. The same thing of arrogant man and bubbly girl etc etc. Forced marriage, FL being insulted, Sautan being there and claiming to be pregnant. Same old BS you get to see in any number of shows.

Even though I really do not trust the producer of this show, I watched it coz I saw the Three Brothers and thought finally they will try something new. But this show is now QH part 5 with the Vamp winning, Male lead being made a fool of, FL as a detective having cat fights with the vamp and all other important characters mute spectators and "shippers". At least EK shows have a lot better balance and better screen space for their cast.

So even I no longer believe ANY story will unfold for Rudra and Om. I really miss seeing them ATM but honestly, I don't think this show will go far now. It's a regular daily soap, so may get some TRP and will be dragged for sometime. But their point of difference is gone and their progressive audience will start to tune out. Yet another disappointment by Gul Khan & co, and another major trolling session of the audience. I should have known they will never change.

Lets accept the fact that shivika are the leads of the show...After 7months gul actually got some trps that too for this pathetic track.So she will drag it as long as she can..2 girls fighting or sharing a man is trp aunties fav track..Luk at kumkumbhagya trps.even qubool hai...Same thing wil happen here also..It wil be a triangle luvstory..No hope for omkara and rudra story atleast not anytime soon😭

The show is high on TRP and therefore would definitely run long, whether or not OmRu stories will be explored is something we still have to look

When ishkara was scrapped gul clearly mentioned that she will show only what she want,wont listen to online fans.We have to respect their decision.At the end it is their show.,they are doing mehnat..If the show dont get trps,channel will end it.Let them do whatever they want for trps..

If Gul wants to show only what she wants, then she should not have LIED that this show was about Brothers? What was that on the old banner? "Yeh Saath Hai Toh Baath Hai?" something like that? They are not even together anymore, and hardly get scenes together?

So why lie, if you are going to do the same old crap you did for years and what every other show does, and much better sometimes? Why pretend to be different? They just used the "Brothers" angle to suck people in, and now changed the whole show so TRP aunties will like it? They don't have the guts like some of the other show makers to do different concepts. Like some of the Sony shows. But those producers usually have several successful shows. They can afford to invest in different sort of projects too. Here Gul only has 1 show, she cannot afford the luxury of doing good content. Because good and different content don't get as much TRP as regressive crap does. Sad truth. But some producers still make good shows. Hats off to them!

when star plus started 'nayi soch' campaign, they had all female leads o the shows as montage pics. It's very wrong to say only Ishqbaaz has put up female lead as banner. In fact only for IB they are alternating the banner between 3 brothers and Anika. So let's not blame PH there.

It is true that Om has no story yet and Cvs are confused about what to show for Rumya. I will give a benefit of doubt to CVs about Rumya that they might be working on their story. Furthermore Kunal and Lee's illness and their absence made the things even more difficult. Hence they might be extending Tia track more than necessary to cover absence of all 3 male leads(NM's holiday coming soon too)

You know initially when this show just started i was also like that omru fans should keep patience

Their stories would be explored gul would do justice with all the characters

But now after 7 months of the show my opinion has totally changed

there has been only little progress in the stories of omru which is actually because one couple reached the point of marriage and that too the progress in their stories were so fast without proper development and lots of bloopers

And for the banner yes it was a big disappointment

Along with anika saumya should also had been there

I remember one of star plus show only where the banner had 2 females because both are leads of the show

It was only after one of them quit the show and she was removed from banner

But i don't know why ishqbaaz banner had only anika when this show is supposed to have 3 female leads
