CHAPTER 9
'Shivaay' Anika shouted. She was in her sixth month now. No one could reduce her anxiety, nervousness and her restlessness other than the father of her babies.
Shivaay- Chilla kyu rahi ho? Kya hua?
Shivaay was really busy today. He didn't have time for office or even a call. He was taking help from everyone in the family but Anika for this day for quite a long time. However he didn't want Anika to know about it.
Anika- Idhar aiyee! Jaldii!
She was really loud this time, and this without wasting time Shivaay quickly ran to her and sat next to her. She took his hands and placed in on her belly, and waited for his reaction.
Shivaay- FHAT THE WUCK? Hil kyu raha hain? Ye kya hain Anika? Mere...mere bacche?
Shivaay's expressions were out of the world. He looked scared, and confused. But Anika could sense his excitement as well.
Anika- Nahi...chuhe! Aapke bacche nahi toh aur kya honge Shivaay?
Anika had tears in her eyes. She was crying! Out of pain? Shivaay thought.
Shivaay- Is it...is it hurting you Anika?
She looked at him, his eyes were moist as well. He looked worried. Anika quickly kissed him on his cheek.
Anika- Nahi, aapse judi koi bhi cheez mujhe aur dard nahi deti hain Shivaay! Main toh bus...bus, khush hu. Humare bacche aa rahe hain Shivaay! Mere aur aapke!!!
He rubbed the tears off her face, and tried to hug her, but was unsuccessful. After that he again put his hands on her belly and babies kicked again.
Shivaay- Phirse kiya? Anika! This is so... I don't know...Beautiful?
Shivaay wasnt leaving her belly. He just kept on waiting for them to kick again and again. Anika was laughing this time.
Anika- Ye kya ho raha hain Shivaay? Humari zindagi badal rahi hain. Do se Paanch ban jayenge hum!
Shivaay now left her belly and cupped her face with his hands, then he kissed her on her soft lips, which tasted like chocolate.
Shivaay- I have a Surprise for you! Tonight! 7pm sharp! Don't be late! I will send you the dress!
After saying that Shivaay left their room, leaving Anika a bit confused! Surprise? Had she forgotten something?
Shivaay rushed to the pool area. It was beautifully decorated. The entire family was helping him with the decorations. Candles, check. White roses, check. Red roses, check. White balloons, check. Red balloons, check.
Shivaay- Thank you!
They all looked at him. He had tears in his eyes. 'This' Shivaay wasn't very common to them. He almost never publically displayed his emotions. But today was special.
Jhanvi- Thank you kyu bol rahe ho Shivaay? Kya ye din humare liye special nahi hain?
Dadi- Billu Puttar, iss din ke liye toh hum sab upar wale se shukriya kehte hain!
Tej- Aaj ka din sach mein humare liye bhi khas hain Shivaay!
Pinky- O my mataa! Rona band kar! Nahi toh mere ankhon mein bhi tears aa jayenge Billu!
Om and Rudra rushed to hug Shivaay who still had tears in his eyes.
Om- Shivaay! Waise agar Anika yaha aagayi toh?
Rudra- Kaise ayengi? Wo thik se chal nahi sakti hain kisi ke bina O! Get it?
Soumya- Yeah so koi unhe pool side ke pass nahi leyenge!
Chutki who had been living with them for the past few months so that she could look after her sister, seemed too glad with the arrangements.
Chutki- Di ko ye sab bohot accha laga ga! I am sure!
Everyone looked at her, shocked at her comment.
Om- REALLY? Hume bilkul nahi pata tha!!!
Everyone began laughing and Chutki was embarrassed.
Dadi- Tum sab meri bacchi pe haso maat! Koi baat nahi puttar!
Chutki smiled at Dadi, then glared at Om who was still laughing. He stopped soon afterwards. Then he quickly held his ears asking for an apology, and that brought a smile on her lips.
Anika was still thinking what she had missed. What could it be? She was bored, but she felt so heavy that she couldnt get up and roam around the house. So she held her belly and began to enjoy the movements of her babies.
Anika- Mere bacche kafi kick kar rahe hain nahi? Waise aap kitna wait karwaoge? Itna intezaar toh maine kisi bhi cheez ke liye nahi ki hain, oh except aapke papa ke! Papa bhi bohot besabar ho rahe gain! Aur...main soch soch ke thak gayi ki kya naan rakhu aap logo ka? Agar aap ladke huye toh... Haan!! Toh Shahrukh, Salman aur Aamir? Aur agar ladki toh... Katrina, Kareena aur Kajol!! Par papa toh mujhe maar hi denge!
After that she began laughing thinking about the names. Shivaay wouldn't really like those names at all!
Suddenly she heard Shivaay's phone ringing. He had left if here. She slowly got up and walked to dressing table, and picked up the phone. It was Tia calling. She received it.
Tia- Shivaay! Office kyu nahi aa rahe ho? I don't get it! Anika is pregnant but so what? Abhi delivery mein time hain! Why can't you just leave her and do some work in the office?
Anika wasnt shocked at all. She always knew this girl could never stand their happiness. She would always call and say these rubbish stuffs and annoy Shivaay. But he chose to ignore as he felt she was only thinking about the company and she really needed the job!
Anika- Hello Tia! Waise, Shivaay aaj office nahi aayenge, kyuki unka office hain, aur unki aaj marzi nahi hain! I don't see any problem in it! Tumhe kyu itni padi hain unke office aane ki?
Tia- Anikaaa! Waise Shivaay ghar mein hi rehta hain na? I mean, wife pregnant ho jati hain toh, attention toh thoda idhar udhar jata hi hain na? Because you can't give him what he wants! So everything all right no? Waise tum dono ka problem khatam ho gaya? Wo jo mere uske saath Sydney rehne ke wajah se huwa tha! Shivaay ko itna baand ke maat rakho Anika, let him Enjoy!
Anika was actually laughing at what Tia was saying. Was she actually trying this with her?
Anika- Tiaa! Mujhe pregnant bhi unho ne kia hain, aur isi liye unka attention idhar udhar nahi hain. Kyuki wo wait kaar rahe hain ke kaab bacche ho jayenge aur hum phirse...tum samaj rahi ho na? Aur Tia, tum aise kyu bol rahi ho jaise unhi ke saath thi Sydney mein? Tum toh bohot dur thi unke hotel se!
Tia- Shivaay ne tumse aisa bola? Jhoot kyu kaha hoga usne Anika? Shayad tum overreact karti!
Anika- Tia, main unki biwi hu! Unke har transactions ka pata chal jata hain! Tumhare saare bills wahi pe hi to thi! Aur haan, humara jhagda ussi din khatam ho gaya tha! Aur mujhe apne baccho ke papa par pura bharosa hain, ke wo kisi cheapdi ko unke aas pass nahi aane denge!
Tia- Anikaaa! You bloo...whatever, just tell Shivaay ki aane toh nahi wali thi, but abhi main aa rahi hu, file sign karwani hain mujhe.
Anika- Bol dungi!
Saying that she cut the call without taking any answer from Tia.
The Oberois had been invited to a wedding by one of their major Clients and thus they all had to attend it. However, Shivaay didn't go as he had plans and Omru, Soumya and Chutki too decided to stay back as well.
Rudra and Soumya were sitting in the living room together and having their pasta in one bowl.
Rudra- Tum khud khaogi ki pure chehre ko khilaogi?
Soumya- Kaha lagi hain?
She touched her face to find the spot and wipe it off but before she could find it, Rudra held her hand and stopped her.
Rudra- Uss din toh badi keh rahi thi ke dekho Shivaay bhaiya kitne romantic hain, aaj mouka mila hain, aur tum...
Soumya- Nahi...koi zarurat nahi hain..
But Rudra instantly moved near her face and just beside her lips, licked the food. She was breathing heavily. He was melting her.
Soumya- Rudra..
Rudra- I love you Soumya!
Just then, he turned his head to find Tia there. He was shocked. How did she manage to get inside the house? They both stood up.
Rudra- Oberoi Mansion mein phir se kaise ghusi tum?
Tia- Main Shivaay se milne ayi hu. Usse bulao. I need him. Now!
Soumya- Of course Tia just wait a second...
Rudra had told everything about that night to Om, Soumya and Chutki. Soumya whispered to Rudra telling him it was time to inform Shivaay. They felt Tia alone in the living room.
Rudra and Soumya rushed up and found Shivaay beside the pool, accompanied by Om and Chutki.
Rudra- Bhaiya hume apse kuch kehna hain.
Shivaay- Umm.. Go Ahead?
Shivaay came down and saw Tia staring at his room which was upstairs. Seeing him, she hugged him.
Tia- Oh Shivaay! Take it! Yeh kuch papers hain, sign chahiye!
Shivaay noticed that her hands were oily.
Shivaay- I will sign it. Waise Tia, remember uss din tum aayi thi? Anika mere piche thi, I couldn't see her, but you could. Yet you continued? Why?
Tia- Umm... What? No...no I don't think so.
Shivaay lost all his calm. He tried to sound as normal as possible but he couldn't control.
Shivaay- Jhoot! Kyu aayi ho?
He shouted, making Tia shake.
Tia- Sh.. Shivaay...
Shivaay- I thought after all that punishment you would change! But sad... Ye mouka bhi gawa diya! YOU ARE FIRED! Go to hell!
Tia began laughing at that.
Tia- Mujhe jo karna tha na Shivaay baby, maine wo kar diya hain, rok sakte ho toh roklo! Anika ke wajah se I lost my child, ab uski bari!
Shivaay- You will pay for this! Shivaay Singh Oberoi ka vada hain tumse Tia Kapoor!
Saying that he rushed upstairs. Tia immediately fled from the place. Om called the police and informed everything.
Shivaays heart was beating faster than ever. He was running, but the way seemed to be never ending. What had Tia done? Was Anika fine? His babies?
Shivaay pushed the door open to find Anika wearing the dress he had sent for her. She was fine. She turned towards him and smiled.
Anika- Kya? Kaisi lag rahi hu?
Shivaay was reliefed. Unharmed.
Shivaay- Anika..
Anika just took a step towards him and that was it. Anika lost her balance. Tia had spilled oil inside their room when Anika was changing.
Shivaay- Anikaaa...
