I don't understand. I really don't. 17th November was the last time we got a proper, meaningful RuMya scene. Im not going to count last week's scenes because we got a total of 3 scenes. In those, one was a rubbish scene with dialogues that had no connection to their previous scenes. The other was a good scene but again didn't feel a sort of connection as there is absolutely no continuity with their scenes and the 3rd one being a total of 20 seconds which was again not continued.
I don't understand this biased behavior by the producer and the creatives. Each episode is of around 21-25 minutes and they seriously cant take out 5-7 mins per episode to give to RuMya? Im not saying that don't show ShivIka but they are "one" of the leads, not THE leads. When will they realise this show is about 3 brothers. Not an elder brother, his wife, his mistress and their 2 devars. The amount of screenspace given to Daksh before, and now Tia could have easily been incorporated to give screenspace to RuMya.
We have absolutely gotten nothing after the engagement fiasco. No Rudra feelings. No Sumo feelings. No Saumya development as well. Why was she scared of the fire during the wedding? About her brother? About her dad? When will her mom come? The reyaan actor also has no idea when his track will start and RuMya's track cannot go forward without Reyaan. So I have no idea how they're planning to go with it
Okay fine, if not RuMya, what about Om? The last time I remember he's gotten proper dialogues or screenspace was on maybe 12-13th Nov when he broke up with Riddhima. After that, he's been treated even worse than a prop in the show! The accident track was supposed to be Om's track but we see only PriVeer instead. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love PriVeer but they've totally wiped out Om's character development from this track. From today's episode, it seems more like they'll use PriVeer to show Shivaay's redemption rather than as something different. He apparently killed a girl, they show him being depressed for some time, take drugs and the next moment, he's dancing around in his brother's wedding. No freaking consistency with his character either. He's been living in guilt for the past 2 years but when Prinku tells him that the girl is alive, he's shown relieved. That's it? He's literally taken drugs because of his guilt, and that's all they'll show as his reaction?
I am so freaking pissed off with the way they're portraying their characters. I get it. Gul is more comfortable with tracks like bad boy, good girl. I like them too but unless they don't cross a line which I think was crossed with ShivIka during the violence episode and I cannot bring myself to like them again and so Im pinning my hopes on RuMya and Om. But when she has taken a step to show something different, why is she so scared to explore it. People like change and people are loving Om and RuMya. It would have been different if the writers were bad but they've done sucha good job with RuMya and their post-marriage track and so I believe they can do something really good with it. Bad boy, good girl has been tried and tested numerous times but playboy and an overweight girl is something new and different. Plus point is that Lee is sucha fabulous fabulous actor, he is going to NAIL any scene given to him. Please please try to experiment with it and u'll be amazed at the result u'll get in terms of fans feedback.
Problem is even KuLee are not happy with their tracks. Kunal doesn't understand what his character is supposed to do. Lee has explicitly told that the writers themselves don't know what to do with their story. 😆 Stop treating them like sidekicks and pls give them a good track. A sincere request from a fan who has given up.
