Just re-posting some stuff from my other post about why Shivvay may take a long hard look at what Daksh said once he cools off.
I was requested to do this so that all and anyone with weak hearts could survive this week to enjoy Shivika post marriage from outside an ICU.
The blue is the re-posted stuff - sorry for a long post in advance 😉 and the pink is what I added after today's episode
Trust me I am not a big SSO fan presently so me saying this is actually a compliment for the 'Duchebag Singh Obreoi'.
With all his faults Shivvay does have some common sense to be able to read his friends intentions with respect to Annika. I know, being a man the testosterone kicks in first at the sight of the girl you desire with another man and worse still when you see her in a 'bad light'. The breaking of the glass plate proves him as a 'Drama King' as someone rightly called him in another post, I am sorry I forget who it was.
But once that blood from the eyes that is clouding the judgement has subsided I am sure Shivvay is going to think a little more logically. Once this beast called jealousy and doubt is controlled only then can the heart take over and feel. In Shivvay's case both are very necessary right now so I am liking that someone, even if it is Daksh, is goading that beast to rise up and do something. Shivvay has been a dormant and inactive volcano long enough. As Rudra pointed out some episodes ago, Annika had managed to tame him.Point - tame him not domesticate him. There is a big difference between the two.
Shivvay needs to open that cage and let the real Shivvay out now. Enough of Mr. Nice Guy - it is time to be true to his name 'Shivvay Singh Oberoi'. It is obvious to him that Daksh has unholy intentions but to take it in a defeatist attitude is not in Shivvay's nature. His basic and primal nature under that well cut Armani suit, calm exterior and the immaculate hair is that of an 'Alpha Male' and we all know thanks to National Geographic that when challenged by another what the 'Alpha Male' is capable of. I think we have as very interesting week ahead of us and I am banking on the CV's keeping him true to his character when provoked. We saw a glimpse of the old SSO today and so did Annika to her amazement. He has opened the cage and is pacing at the door waiting for the slightest reason possible to get out.
As for his opinion about the ONS I would like to give him the benefit of doubt for now before I rip him into pieces. Lets see what this week brings. I did see a very calm Shivvay at the wedding spoiler and I know he would not have been if he thought that the ONS did happen. We would have at least see him sneer with a look of disgust at Annika if he truly believed it because she would have proven him right about 'middle class girls'.
I think he is going to calm down a bit later and process in that handsome head of his all the cold and basic facts before him.
This kind of behavior is not Annika - This is the same girl he tried time and again to buy off with money when she refused to be intimidated by him.She slapped the bundle of $$ on his handsome face outside the temple, refused to beg for the catering contract, did not succumb to his pressure even when he was huffing and puffing her house down like the 'big bad wolf' he was then.
The same proud girl who refused to be beaten by him and literally threw his 'blank cheque' back in his face. She proved him wrong when she did cash it but spent it on his wedding. He had not even asked for those kind of sleazy favours when he wrote that cheque.
Throughout her work period at the OM she never asked or expected more than what she earned through her hard work even though she could very well have asked Dadi for it. She refused without the slightest hesitation the 'solitaries' gifted to her by Tia.There is not a single shred of evidence to prove that Annika would do something that cheap just for money. So why start now?
Unfortunate for Daksh and fortunate for Shivvay, both in respect to their obsession, that one did not try to get to know the real Annika while the other one has been doing just that for the past few months.
It is possible that the truth about Annika spending the night is revealed before Daksh leaves for Delhi. We know Shivvay already has his doubts that Annika could do something like that and I appreciate that he does. It shows some level of trust in the Annika HE knows and has learned to respect.
Situations that might prove his judgement was correct:
1. Soumya may thank Annika (loud enough for Shivvay to hear of course) for spending the night with her and requests if she could wait tonight as well since the wedding is tomorrow and anyways there is so much to do that Annika may consent.
2. Dadi may ask Daksh or Annika if he gave /she got the loan papers that Shakti cleared for her?
After this Shivvay confronts Daksh for defaming Annika and her virtue so easily and maybe Daksh says the 'bet' is still on. He threatens to pick up where they left off once he gets back. Shivvay challanges Daksh that no matter what he will not let Daksh's vile intentions be successful because he has a duty towards Annika, since she is considered part of his family, to protect her. He will tell Annika the truth about him. Daksh probably gets Annika to promise she will wait for him with some emotional drama before he leaves so that he can foil Shivvay's plans to expose him. Shivvay may witness this and realize that talking to Annika is going to be futile right now as Daksh has already laid his trap.
Now Shivvay is really in mortal fear because this time around Daksh might end up being successful by either fair or fowl means. He could even go to the extent of drugging her or something like that. The guilt of seeing this strong, independent and self-respecting girl destroyed and humiliated will be his because he and his family have vouched for Daksh's character time and again so Annika blindly walked into this relationship, without bothering to check up on Daksh. Besides,. Shivvay is also aware that it was he who put forward Daksh's proposal to Annika the first time and that means he put his stamp of approval on it. Since he is Shivvay's childhood friend Annika moved ahead with the confidence that Daksh was sincerely a nice guy. It happens - how many of us have seen marriages where an aunt or even neighbor have vouched for the other party.
Trying to speak with Annika is out of the question as she is giving him the silent treatment and he does not have the luxury of time because he is getting married tomorrow. Now he has to chose between two commitments. His commitment to be true to his word to Annika that he will always look after her and be a phone call away or his commitment to Tia regarding the business merger. As Dadi pointed out to Om in one of the very early episodes that a business deal can be revisited but a marriage deal is for life. Shivvay seals all roads that lead to Annika after his marriage to Tia but he could still maneuver a merger deal where the business is concerned. Maybe there is a win-win situation and I am sure we can trust SSO to come up with it.
At this stage Shivvay knows he has no time to convince Annika about Daksh's intentions and he has to do what he does best. Damage control!
Absolutely, completely and totally right. Robin is as possessive and obsessive about Tia as Shivvay is about Annika. He was always against Tia's mothers plan to trap Shivvay. When Om said his poetry we had Robin in the back because, you see, that applied to him as well not just Shivvay. I feel bad for that man - I don't know how he bears it.
Recent Add on: They said Tia is exposed post marriage which could also mean Robin told Shivvay on the wedding day just hours before ( I am sure next week is going to be "Flashback Week") and that is why he could make the decision to marry Annika becuz he was free from that commitment. I was happy to see Rudra back and I am sure if she spends another night at the OM we are going to see Sahil enter the OM soon and be present for his sisters wedding.
So when Shivvay is asked what about Tia the truth comes out about Tia already being married and hence she does not show up at the OM.
He will never marry Annika if he is still committed to Tia - a man of his word through and through
"Water on the face" happened the last time when Shivvay was wrong about Annika and the goons beat him up. Then he even punished himself for all the things he said about her by letting them beat him up because he knew Annika would never hurt him EVER! The bucket of water was his way of asking her to give him a tight well deserved slap.
This time it is a bigger boo-boo and he has apologized to her for being so very wrong and not trusting her again. Could she forgive him and will she marry him? Heck! Forget Annika, I would throw water at his face if both those things were said in one sentence because she has already given her word to another man. In that respect she is exactly like Shivvay.

He has twisted her arm about Sahil somehow and is blackmailing her to marry him against her wishes. The tears and anger is because he can stoop so low as to still try and hurt her even though she is trying to get away from his life. Splash!!! Pannika's revenge and reaction
When Shivvay realizes that the only way to protect her is by force,"I'm doing this for your own good' kind of force, he puts on his SSO garb, steels himself against her tears, puts on his mask of indifference to her pleas and blackmails her somehow to marry him. Maybe just when Anika throws water at his face and walks away angrily, Tia's real husband may send some clue against Tia to Shivaay to stop the wedding, because he does seem extremely jealous... then, Shivaay may just have to worry about how to save Anika from Daksh and not really worry about Tia?
